Balcony Bedroom Luxury Modern Scenic views Suite property condominium Villa Resort living room cottage flat

High-rise luxury mega-resort with four restaurants, an award-winning spa and breathtaking views over Banderas Bay

The Lowdown

With 433 rooms and a commanding location on the most perfect curve of Banderas Bay, this sprawling resort has plenty of presence. Rooms offer bright splashes of tropical color to punctuate the white and beige. Just steps from the hotel is a sublime beach lined with palm trees and offering all kinds of watersports and activities, from kite boarding to sea turtle release. The bar serves a great range of top-shelf tequilas and The Ohtli Spa is a highlight, offering a slew of treatments inspired by healing techniques and Shamanistic traditions of the Huichol Indians.

In the Area

In season, whale watching on the bay is a must: take a boat trip with a local outfit like Wildlife Connection for up-close encounters with these gentle giants. In the town itself, join an art walk on the famous Malecon boardwalk, with its oceanfront sculptures. Then fill up on Puerto Vallarta’s other claim to fame, its excellent gourmet scene, with world-class restaurants like boho Café des Artistes, overlooking The Malecon, or al fresco La Palapa, in the so-called “Romantic Zone” by Los Muertos Beach, serving jazzed-up local favorites like tortilla soup.

Once again, the best there is

This time around i visited PV Marriott for business reasons and I have to say that the Marriott means total guarantee for a great experience.

- Fantastic top notch service
- great conference room with a perfectly temperature setting for me the conferencist
- Top notch food and quality drinks

- one very minor issue. The day i was registering the front desk was not attended. When I asked for help to a Marriott co-worker she answered bluntly that it was not her area and walked away..... very disconcerting but just one minor event.

I love the Marina location, the ambiance of the hotel and the top notch restaurants and quality service.

Thank you

Good service

We stayed for a week, the hotel is beautiful and has good amenities, good nearby places as Paseo de la Marina (a lot of restaurants and stores and services as laundry), our room 3037, good service of the House keeper Belén, always clean and good recommendations to nearby places.

Amazing Resort In A Great Location!

We arrived in Puerto Vallarta for a quick weekend trip. We appreciated the location of this resort as it was not too far from the airport. We elected to reserve an ocean view room and would recommend that everyone does the same. The front desk staff were accommodating and would check in with us to make sure we had everything we needed when we were just walking through the lobby. We were all impressed that the daily resort fee includes kayak/paddleboard rentals. This was super fun and great that we didn't have to venture out of the resort to do! We look forward to making a return trip to Puerto Vallarta in the next few months and we will definitely book with the Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort.

Beautiful Resort!

My family and I just returned from our stay and was quite satisfied with our experience. Ocean view room, good amenities, well kept grounds, good food and not so crowed infinity pool, and good customer service. Anna in housekeeping did an amazing job in our room (4002) daily for the duration of our stay. Shout out to the older Francisco at the pool restaurant who ensured my hubby received extra cold coco's while poolside. Carlos the bartender and front desk worker thanks for your customer service and following up on my hubby's lost glasses. The staff at Mikada restaurant you're phenomenal especially Alberto, Pablo, and Audrey (we shared something in common hint France and pronunciation of names lol). You guys all helped to make our vacation enjoyable and memorable. Keep up the great work! We'll definitely return as we truly enjoyed the hotel and beautiful Puerto Vallarta!

My boyfriend and I can't wait to come back! This was our first time in MX and had such a great experience at the resort. There are so many family activities and I started everyday at the spa. The pool was amazing and the location was very central to the pier and the marina. The resort also went over the top for us to help us pack some of the artwork we wanted to take home. I honestly can't thank them enough for packing everything, so we could take it on the plane. Please make sure you look out for Ernesto and Maggie at the concierge desk.
