How to Get There
Each time we have stayed here the people are the key element to the experience. Not that the hotel is not fantastic or that the pools and food are not the very best. It's just that everyone goes out of their way to make the visit the very best that it can be. Love this place and will always return for more fun and relaxation.
My husband and I stayed on the eighth floor for a week May 2019. We both needed a relaxing, reviving vacation and the GM was like a home away from home. But better. The GM is up high on a hill in a very expensive area of PV, so the views are stunning and each sunset was an experience in itself. I had some great sleeps in a very comfortable bed and all the room amenities were on point. The GM has three pools and a jacuzzi, lots of seating around the pools, although it was quiet while we were there, but in general it was easy to find somewhere to sit, relax, read, listen to podcasts and order drinks and food. Only one of the pools was not heated and in the heat, who needs heated pools? There are two restaurants, one from breakfast, one for dinner, and the snack bar for during the day orders. Food is hit and miss. It doesn't match the standard of the hotel itself and we found better options in town. Every where is pretty low key so dress informally. Overall, this is the only place i would return to in PV, and there's a good chance we will return when that need to unwind comes around again.
Well appointed rooms with incredible views of the bay and coastline going north and south. The staff were incredibly helpful. From Victor at the front desk, to German in the dining room at breakfast, everyone took good care of us during our stay. Short inexpensive taxi ride to and from the hotel to downtown made going out to eat when needed very easy.
Ive stayed at many resorts, This resort by far is the best one! It is absolutely wonderful!Breathtakingly beautiful and super romantic! The staff and service is great from the moment you arrive. The views are AMAZING!!! Its quiet and relaxing! So if you are looking for more lively and exciting this is NOT your place. However just the ambiance makes up for how quiet it is! It is not far from more things to do. I will definitely be back. Thank you so much to the entire staff for making us feel so welcome! I wish I could give 10 stars!
The OWNER needs to focus less on the table placement in the restaurant[s] and focus more on the following:
Educating the Staff
Listen to customer requests
Not charging multiple times on your credit cards
Replacing worn mattress's or flipping them
Updating the Rooms very dark and heavy on faux/fake woods.
Having Concierge / PR / or yourself the OWNER engage with Guests after all we are the ones that matter most
Where is the Manager of the Hotel do you even have one, entire stay not once did we see
Update the Spa & Store [store barely has any items and expired]
