Annual vacation
Reviewed 4 hours ago

Our 2nd time to Fiesta Americana but not our last. Our waiter Rafael, outstanding, bartender Ramon, fabulous and the pool server Hugo, there for any need. All 3 made sure we had the tequila that we wanted, which wasn't what they normally served. Also, any food needs were met at all times. We were made to feel very special. Ana in housekeeping was also wonderful.

Two Thumbs Up!!

We loved everything about this resort! The staff were so incredibly friendly and great service! Very clean and kept nice and loved that it was not a huge resort. The Italian restaurant was our favourite place to have dinner.

Visiting this hotel and it’s wonderful staff is our favorite annual Thanksgiving tradition and we continued to do it again last month with no regrets! When coming to enjoy this property I believe everything starts on a good note based on the superior general management of Sr. Rangel and the guidance of his team as he always makes us feel so welcome and as though we are family! Prior to us arriving we had everything arranged with the fabulous concierge Mariana and Brenda. They helped coordinate our complete stay and set up our room reservation and transportation which made things so convenient so thank you! We must also thank the operations manager Yadira for always checking to make sure we were fine and that everything was OK. We love staying on the club level and truly enjoy the experience and personal VIP service of Rafael, Cesar and Marcos as they are always there every morning and early evening with a big happy super special smile and always willing to accommodate anything we needed or wanted! PS thank you also for the Absolut Mandarin;) On that note we must give a special thanks to the restaurant director Hector along with the restaurants head chef Luis Encinas. They always looked after us and were very creative in trying to make the evening menus & entertainment so different and tasty! We also appreciated the generous service and glowing face of Tania the pool director and the humble gentleman named Artemio. When you are relaxing by the pool and the beach Palapas & Cerverceria you can’t help but noticing the hustling and tremendous hard-working people such as Rafi in the house, Brad Pitt Miguel, Nacho, Yolanda, Carlos, Luis along with the Chula Vista waiters: Jesus, Rosalio, Marcos and Irving. Each morning we were greeted by the best hostesses Karla, Daniele & Liliana along with the Capitan Ivan at the Chula Vista who always helped try and get us a nice table with a pretty view:) There was also a very nice lady who worked & was the chef at the snack bar restaurant always seemed to have a smile even when she was very busy and working by herself and I’m sorry I forgot her name but she certainly needs to be acknowledged. I also want to mention the great service of the waiters at the Mexican and Italian restaurant: Francisco, Manuel, & Josue along with the marvelous piano playing of Ricco who really created a wonderful ambience a couple of nights a week. He loves taking special request and definitely has a strong passion for his music which we really appreciated! My son “Camerone” really enjoyed dropping by the café in the mornings and afternoons for a little snack and always being well looked after by Lupita and Patricia. I know some people normally don’t mention their maid but we had a super honest and friendly maid that took very good care of our room on a daily basis and her name was Monica. She also was very artistic by doing special designs on our bed with colored rice which was very beautiful. While we were on a trip, we did one water excursion with Vallarta adventures and it was perfectly coordinated by Esteban who I believe also represents Expedia and I highly recommend organizing some tours and fun things with him@@) we cannot forget to mention one of the bartenders who has been there for many many years named Ramon who really knows how to make special drinks and show you a good time:) The lobby bar is well looked after by Arashy, Isaac, Ruby & Fabiola. Lastly, we must mention the bellboys who always give us our first reminder and impression of why we enjoy returning back to this property as they are so kind and helpful with arranging our luggage, bags and taxis and personal transportation to and from the airport: Oralando, Sebastian, Hector, Ramos, Gustavo, Solis, Castillo & Diego. I know this review mentions many names but I understand the importance of pointing out each one as they truly deserve recognition and thanks again as we look forward to seeing all of you again next year!!! Fiesta Americana is the BEST! 5+ stars!

Fiesta Americana is by far the best hotel in Puerto Vallarta. Delicious food, excellent drinks, extremely friendly and helpful staff, and an overall gorgeous hotel and property! Their motto is "Welcome Home" and boy, did we definitely feel at home there! Big shout out to Hugo (the best pool side waiter), Daniel (the funniest most energetic activity leader), and Rafael (the greatest pool bar bartender)! I know I'm forgetting so many other amazing employees that we met that made us feel right at home too! We love you Fiesta Americana, and we'll definitely be back next year!

Amazing boutique style resort

This hotel isn’t large and has a boutique type feel. They really make you feel special here. We spent a week and enjoyed every meal and every day. The room views were amazing. (Almost every room in the place would have a good view.)

Special shout out to Nacho at the pool bar he was amazing. He had my special watermelon drinks ready every time I came back from the pool! Also to David at the front desk for coordinating a special dinner for my husband and I for our anniversary.

My only complaint was the WiFi was sketchy and a bit slow at times and there was not really any evening shows (just the odd live band).

The second half of our trip we went to a more expensive resort the Now Amber in PV (way bigger, more chain like, lower quality food, and louder) and we literally wanted to get back in the taxi and go back to the fiesta!!
