Another great week

This was a return visit that was relaxing and just like coming back home . Everyone makes every effort to be sure you are comfortable and have whatever you need.
When we were sitting at the pool Ivan kept our drinks full .
We had dinner and breakfast at the Andrea. The hostesses are helpful, courteous and friendly. All of the wait staff are great- they make sure you do not go away hungry !
From Ernesto at breakfast and at night Enrique, Julio, Alan and Angel and all the other smiling faces whose names I have forgotten.

First time to Puerto Vallarta, got the all inclusive hotel. I went off priceline, thought there would be a shuttle service and check out at 12, but once I was told the shuttle service is only available for timeshare people it made me verify the check out time that was 11. I used this as my home base, went on three different excursions in my week, each time knowing that I would be coming back to a beautifully cleaned room with a great view, got myself a crepe about every other night. The food was ok, service was fantastic, but I didn't expect this resort to provide me every thing I would need, not possible, instead they filled me with ideas. Like doing a fishing trip next time and cooking up fresh fish for a week in the kitchen provided. If there is a next time, I would definitely stay here or a sister property, probably for a few weeks, but will not use the taxi service at the airport, instead, walk down till you get to the skybridge, cross over and save some money. Excursions I went on were the Taco Tour, Mexican Fiesta on a Pirate Ship, and the Zip line/speed boat tour, all available in there front lobby area, each was worth it.

Wonderful Family Vacation

My family (husband, 2 teen boys and I) just returned from 5 days here in early June. It was a wonderful trip celebrating our 20th anniversary. We booked a regular room, but then at check-in we upgraded to an awesome, large 3-bed condo with a giant balcony with hot-tub overlooking the ocean. It was a lovely treat to stay in such an amazing place! We had great meals at both restaurants, my kids loved the crepe station, Marcelino at the pool kept the food and drinks and laughter flowing, and everyone we came into contact with was so nice and accommodating. The pros of going in June are it wasn't crowded so no problem getting chairs, reservations, quick service, lots of attention. The only con is there was not really anything going on after dinner - lobby bar was open but almost empty. We were happy to have our amazing balcony to return to for hot-tub, drinks and views after dinner! We hope to return on another anniversary! :)
