How to Get There
After touring Yellowstone, we were treated to a luxury room on downtown Jackson. Historic building right in the middle of all action in Jackson. About one block from the famous town Square. We were able to easily walk to all the shops of downtown. We even walked to the mountain, Snow King, for a lift ride to the top with great views of the entireJackson area.
My husband and I stayed for two nights at this hotel in the middle of January of 2019. We had a large room with two queen size beds, a desk, a bureau with a television and a comfortable chair with a reading light. The bathroom was good size and had both a tub and a shower. This hotel is historic and the staff is very friendly and pleasant. We ate breakfast two mornings in the hotel and the food was delicious. This hotel has an exercise room and two whirlpools - both in the basement. This hotel is in a convenient location for walking around Jackson. This hotel has a beautiful lobby area. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel.
Best Location in Town, Lindsay was the Most Wonderful Manager and Contributed Immensely to the Success of My Ski and Snowmobile Trip. Breakfast was great every morning and Luminita was superb. Chris and Everyone at the Front Desk and Everyone Else From Sean the Bellman, to the Shuttle Drivers, to the Entire Staff in the Silver Dollar Bar and to the excellent attention to details that I specifically asked for ahead of time. This was my second time here and I really felt welcomed back. I will certainly be back!!
After a long debate between staying in Teton Village and Jackson, we decided on Jackson and more importantly, the Wort. The Wort was perfect! It strikes a great balance between value and comfort. We stayed in a junior suite which was spacious and comfortable, especially the bed. The bar and restaurant were great. Breakfast and the live music were highlights. Top notch location right in town.
We really appreciated the concierge's help in booking our snowmobiling tour of Yellowstone through Scenic Safaris. Highly recommended!
Had the rare opportunity to visit Yellowstone, Tetons and Jackson in the middle of the winter on a Tauck Tour. It was just a delight to spend our last 3 nights at the Wort. after the rustic visit to Chico Hot Springs and The Snow Lodge at Old Faithful, The Wort was like a palace for us and we were treated like royalty. Great room and service; outstanding wifi; great location in Jackson: and even an invitation for wine and cheese with management. Interesting to learn that the owners of The Wort Hotel also own the old Cowboy Bar. When we come back to Jackson, we will return to The Wort Hotel. Don't forget to check out the Glorietta Trattoria Restaurant, a short walk down the street and the music at the Silver Dollar Bar in the Hotel on Tuesday night if you're there then. Thanks.
