How to Get There
We stayed here for 5 nights in January. We had a room with an incredible view. It was located over the bar and could get somewhat noisy, but they let us know this at checkin incase we wanted to change rooms. Beds were super comfortable and staff was extremly friendly and helpful. The property was gorgeous and the bar is definitely worth a visit. This hotel is in a perfect location for walking to town square and for walking around in downtown Jackson. We really enjoyed our stay.
We were trying to not rent a car during our visit to Jackson and the Wort filled that need perfectly! The rooms were nice and the staff was great but the location was the frosting on the cake! We were able to walk to lots of restaurants, shops and a day spa. The Silver Dollar Bar and Grill was nice too, especially when we realized that it was going to be hard to find a restaurant open for dinner the very last night of ski season. We thoroughly enjoyed our girls weekend at The Wort!
I stayed at The Wort March, 2019, in 2 rooms with my 3 sons, who are in their 20's. The rooms were elegantly rustic, very clean, very quiet. The beds very comfortable, if a little high for a 5'1" woman, with plenty of soft pillows. The staff on all levels were very attentive and helpful when we needed them. Walk through the lobby and have lunch, or dinner at the Sliver Dollar Bar or have some drinks and listen to the live music, especially Tuesday night for One Ton Pig that's performed there every Tuesday night for a dozen years. All the food and drinks were very good. Breakfast at the Silver Dollar Grill was always very good, with excellent service, Stay at The Wort, if you are going to Jackson. I will next time.
Great hotel and amazing staff! Very clean and comfortable. A bit on the spendy side, yet money well spent on a wonderful experience in Jackson. The Lemongrass & Sage scented toiletries, including hand lotion in the room were especially pleasant. Do pay for the valet service as parking is very restrictive in the downtown area.
OK, maybe not the entire West, but the Wort Hotel in Jackson, Wyoming is one of our favorites. We stay there at least a night or two every time we travel to Jackson Hole and it is simply a delight. Nice People. Great Rooms. Always a delight. Don't miss it.
