How to Get There

Grand Hotel San Pietro
Via Pirandello 50
Taormina, 98039 Italy

Fab views. Good service.

Lovely hotel, with sensational views from sea-view rooms, breakfast terrace, and pool area.
Big rooms, nicely appointed.
Very helpful reception staff.
Reason why not 5* review...you'll want to use the shuttle bus to get up to the centre of taormina, as its a steep stepped 20min walk ( down is easy though). The shuttle only runs every hour and gets full quickly. We tried to book for the 7pm at breakfast time, and it was already full.
I feel the hotel should really do a 2nd run..many people were turned away and faced the long walk up, or €15 taxi.
But other than that...Hotel San Pietro is a lovely place to stay.

This place did not fail to make our return trip to Sicily as fun as the first. The rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable with views hard to beat!! The breakfast which is included is unbelievable and everyone is friendly and so helpful!!

Classic Italian 'Grand' hotel to just relax, or as a base for exploring.

Stayed here for 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We arrived very late to a warm welcome and were given an upgrade to a junior suite with a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. The room was comfortable, spacious with great storage and a full Italian marble bathroom.
The time we travelled (Sept), the hotel was relatively quiet, which we liked. The pool area had great sunbeds and was well serviced by the life guard present. The bar and the restaurant were also excellent.
The hotel shuttle minibus service to Taormina town was extremely useful, especially in the evening to access the many restaurants the town offers.
Staff were all pleasant and very helpful at all times.
The only downside was the breakfast. A little boring and the same selection everyday with unexciting choices. On one day the hot food hadn't been kept warm and was stone cold! But this is a minor complaint and i would be very happy to return here again one day.
