How to Get There
While the Hotel itself might be a bit ‘plastic’ and lack character, it is probably the only one that comes loaded with all teh creature comforts and amenities you can expect from a Higher category Chain hotel
LOCATION: A bit away from old Center, but still at a walkable distance
DINE + DRINK: Lobby level bar good for a pre-drink before heading out into town
ROOM: We stayed in 308, so this review is based on that; VIEW: City View which was nothing much to write about; SIZE: Very spacious room; AIR-CON: the biggest LOWLIGHT of the stay! Very poorly functioning Air-Con that didnt work, and the room was EXtremely HOT throughout the day!!!; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand in shower; TOILETRIES: Good MErcure Quality Cosmetics
FACILITIES: One of the main reasons why we chose this hotel. They have a very good gym used by the locals too - so comes loaded with all kinds of machines, weights and Cardio equipment. Perfect for a full fledged workout!
SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all my needs with a smile and made us feel at home.
HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free high speed Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. Big Plasma TV screen dishing out dozens of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies and a wide variety of entertainment - but primarily in ITalian language only
The hotel is not to far from the airport, the taxi journey took about 15 minutes and for 4 of us cost Eur23, which wasn’t to bad.
On arrival to the hotel we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful lady at the front desk who explained about our stay and also places to visit. We were also given a free welcoming drink which was a nice surprise.
The room was large, clean and comfortable, the bed was very large and the air conditioning kept the room very cool.
The breakfast was self service and had the usual cold meats and cheese along with a small choice of cooked items, egg, sausage etc
The gym is very good and well equipped.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay
The hotel is a good 15-20 minute walk to the centre so be aware of this
The only down point, though no fault of the hotel, is that there is work ongoing on the railway lines to the rear of the hotel and this does spoil sitting by the pool
Really unusual hotel inside great mosaic. The website gave the impression that the swimming pools and Jacuzzi were part of your stay however I was surprised to find that it was an additional €18 per person for two hours.
Huge hotel with decent rooms but the location isn’t great. Seems like a dodgy part of town with train tracks surrounding it. The beds aren’t comfortable, the shower flooded the bathroom, the pool outside was not available and the 5 minute walk to the center was more like 15. We were offered a welcome drink on arrival but had to wait all day until the bar was actually open. The staff was also not very helpful and a bit rude at times.
I stayed here because of its proximity got the airport and the time I landed and most importantly because it had a pool advertised on its own website.
The lady at the reception staff on arrival was very patient and amazing
Room service was prompt
The pool was closed- doesn’t say seasonal on the website
3 lights in the room didn’t work despite asking for it to be repaired they didn’t during my 3 night stay
Towel heat railing in bathroom doesn’t work
Lighting in bathroom is pretty dingy
Air conditioning is controlled centrally, it doesn’t get cold! They said open the windows!
Wish I’d stayed in an agriturismo or the Hilton 😂
