Excellent hotel

This hotel is really excellent. Beautiful setting, amazing views, great swimming pool, very nice dinner area. Service is very good specially at dinner. Breakfast could be better. If there are not that many guests the breakfast is very limited. Not all food is really fresh in the morning. Some fresh fruit and yoghurt (every day!) would help.

Beautiful located, luxery resort.

Villa Anitori was a gem in the beautiful Le Marche. Only 10 rooms in a beautful restored building with all luxery you can imagine, including a complete spa and a lovely outside pool. Rooms are large, very clean and with a great bathroom.
Diner is very good in quality, only the choices are limited and sometimes "sold out". Staffing is very kind but also very busy as likely understaffed - I guess due to limited nr of rooms. Breakfast is OK but cakes etc seem to be returned for several days.
We loved to stay here as the atmosphere is very relaxing and all the staff are extremely helpful and kind.

Peace and tranquility with exceptional food and hospitality

Just lovely, exceptional even!
If you want to escape and enjoy a wonderful part of Italy with superb dining and hospitality I can not recommend Villa Anitori highly enough. You are surrounded by fantastic scenery and the nicest people, the spa facilities are heavenly and if like me you hire a car it’s a wonderful place to explore from. I only wish I was there now. Gluten free diet is no problem, just let them know and they supply everything you need.

We arrived late in the evening and we were given a warm welcome. Our room was beautiful and very clean.

Because we hadn’t eaten, we got food and local wine, late on our room for only 13 euro. It was delicious! We even got a proposal to get breakfast on our room.

In the morning when we woke up and before breakfast we walked through the garden and it was amazing. They really respect nature, there were butterflies and beautiful roses everywhere.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing, only fresh delicious pies, cookies and sweets. Not real breakfast. For a resort like this we expected a bit more. For example eggs and fresh bread.

After breakfast we hung around the pool, it was magnificent, roses and rosemary everywhere. It smelled great. The pool was clean and the poolbeds were fantastic.

When we asked for some lunch by the pool, the restaurant was closed but we got aperitivo instead and it was way too much but very nice. Very tastefull and much more than we wanted but had to pay 48 euro for the aperitivo’s, two glasses of pro Seco and a bottle of water. A bit much.

After our stay at the pool we went to the spa area and we loved it. It was a bit small but we were the only one. A bubblebath with a great view over the area.

After the Spa we went to the restaurant and all the credits to the waiter. He did his best to please us. The food itself was good, not great and the desserts we’re a bit of a dissapointment. But the waiter and the wine were excellent.

We even asked to stay a day longer and that wasn’t a problem, but when we woke up the next day it was raining so hard and the breakfast were the leftovers from the day before . So we decided to leave anyway. That wasn’t a problem but later when we checked out. We had to pay a penalty of 80 euro’s because they couldn’t sell the room anymore....a bit strange because the resort was almost completely empty and not fair because we just booked another hotel more to the South wich we couldn’t cancel.

After some talking with the reception we came to an agreement everyone was happy with and in the end we had a great time!

So Yes ofcourse the resort has some issues to work out and to better itself. But the potential is amazing! Therefore for me it’s worth 5+ stars!

What a fantastic find, just perfect. Family owned and recently renovated, nothing was too much trouble. Alessandro is a fantastic host and his staff really looked after us, we hope to come back as it is only an hours drive from Ancona and we found some lovely places to eat nearby. We also ate at the hotel on two evenings, the food was excellent as was the service.
