Five star +

This was our third visit and everything we experienced previously were out surpassed. The staff were outstanding which made our visit memorable. We were given an upgrade of room which by any standard was more than 5star. We will definitely return where we feel amongst friends.

Truly relaxing.

My wife and I enjoyed a 2 day stay very recently. On the way home in the car
I said I found it hard to believe we had so short a visit. I felt I'd been away for
4 or more days. My wife agreed. Our time at Harvey's was so enjoyable and
so refreshingly in harmony with our ideas of what a breakaway might ideally
provide in the way of gentle and comfortable relaxation. Brilliant food too!

Great team effort

Staff make this place tick whether it’s front desk, concierge, chefs, waiters or waitresses and the chamber team. All in harmony which says a lot too. Location is super with walks on the door step. We tried the tasting menu which was super, brilliant choice of food and wonderfully cooked and explained. HP is an ongoing success story. Thank you we enjoyed being a short part of it.

Home away from home

There isn’t one single reason why Harvey’s Point continues to lead the way in hospitality excellence, rather a combination of many reasons. The food, the ambiance of the bar overlooking the lake, the newly renovated rooms and then there’s the food. But all of these are outclassed by the friendliness and helpful nature of the staff. It’s the familiar hello you get at reception and when in the bar which welcomes you back to Harvey’s point. And it’s not done because it’s taught- it’s done because Harvey’s point has managed to acquire the greatest team of staff of any hotel I’ve been to. It’s the really nice people who work at Harvey’s Point which sets it apart from all the others. Looking forward to our next visit already.

5 stars is not enough!

One of the most beautiful hotels have been been too and by far the biggest room have ever stayed in as each room is like a huge suite. Even though have stayed in 5 star hotels (and cannot believe is one is not even 5 stars!) never stayed anywhere like this before. The views are breathtaking - even in the rain. The staff are really attentive and food fantastic. My favourite place was the residents reading room which is very tranquil overlooking the lake and being able to relax in front of fire - hope to be lucky enough to visit again one day!
