A true gem in the Quads

Stayed for St Patrick's Day weekend with my daughters and grandchildren. If it had a Harris Pizza next door it would be 6 star heaven! A stunningly beautiful hotel, it has a combination of old world architectural grandeur, subtle elegance, and contemporary luxuries. The lobby is spacious and intimate at the same time, with luxurious sittings large enough for a small family gathering but cozy enough to have a romantic late night drink. The staff is both professional and Midwestern friendly. The rooms are beautiful, beds outstanding, the showers luxurious. My grandchildren lived in the large indoor pool and there is a wonderfully large, hot and invigorating jets whirlpool. I grew up in Rock Island and the hotels location is superb for any quad event. Your right next door to the arsenal bridge, which I prefer to walk for the majestic river, the Lincoln statue and old Fort Armstrong. The river on the Iowa side is beautiful to walk and large city caliber restaurants and museums are close. Perfect for the St. Patty's parade, I'm having all the family there next year.

This was our 3rd time staying at hotel Blackhawk. We have always had good experiences. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. Our jacuzzi tub wasn't working and they sent someone right away to fix it, and we're going to give us a new room if it was unable to be fixed. I feel comfortable knowing that if we have an issue they will be professional and it will be addressed. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance and close to village of was the Davenport which has a really cute downtown area. Rooms are nice and clean. Got to try the martini bar and that was fun. We will be back next winter for our yearly get away!

My first time visiting Davenport work related, I Treavel often and I have to say this Hotel is the ONE I will come on my own time to re-visit.The entire staff friendly and out going
Sarah, Kenny and Isaac were more than helpful they really were engaged with all guests
The food is great..the bartenders all very engaging..Peter the general manager very friendly and approachable..Kaitlin the banquet manager went over and beyond to answer questions..this is a Hotel you have to experience..so if you are in or around the Quad Cities I am telling you stop by the Blackhawk..

Best Hotel in Area

The Hotel has very comfortable beds and nice size rooms. The food is excellent however the service was a little slow at the bar. The rest of the staff go out of their way to make your stay outstanding. The location is excellent. I was not a fan of the room key for elevator. You can only get to your floor so if you are staying with a group on different floors it can be frustrating to get to their room. Also, if you have kids they need a room key to use the elevator without you like going to the pool on 3rd floor.

Hotel was very nice. Could tell they spent some time on a remodel and transformation on this hotel was well done. We did not eat here but did take some time to enjoy a few drinks. The bowling alley was a nice feature. The downstairs bar was promoted as a Martini Bar - however, I would say there needs to be some work on the menu and drinks as they were not all that good - in fact a couple we tried were just bad. The upstairs bar was much better offering just about whatever you wanted. Overall I would stay again and try their restaurant. Good walking distance to other area bars/restaurants was a plus.
