The Lowdown

Uppala Villa & Spa Umalas provides all the peace and tranquility you could hope for from a Balinese getaway, within the seclusion of chic and contemporary private, self-catering villas. The abodes themselves are incredibly sumptuous and stylish, but the piece de resistance is the private plunge pool, with accompanying terrace and sun loungers – the perfect place to cool off and relax after a day spent exploring this tropical paradise.
When you’re not lounging poolside, a complimentary shuttle will take you into Seminyak Square or the pristine white sands of Seminyak Beach. Or hop in a taxi to the Canggu Club, Bali’s premier members’ club, to rub shoulders with the local A-list. If you need a little extra help loosening up those shoulders, there’s a spa in the resort, offering a range of relaxing treatments. The resort has your cravings covered, too; it’s also home to UGGA Cafe, serving cuisines spanning from Europe to Asia.

Your super-sleek and stylish villa offers tons of space, contemporary décor and a roomy en-suite bathroom, in addition to your own intimate plunge pool and sun terrace with loungers.

We stayed in Uppala villa umalas and we had a really great time. The villas are just amazing with a superbe pool. The staff is constantly caring about us. We were treated like we were the only guest in the hotel.

A special attention to Asih (meaning love ) who spent a lot of her busy time playing with our daughter.

I would recommend the place to anyone who want to spend quality time with the family.

See you again soon.

A pleased guest.

This is the worst place we have stayed in. The pics on the website only showed the good bits. We have very little hot water in the master bathroom and very little water pressure. The kitchen is self sustainable but no cooking utensils or pots or pans to cook with. The sink only had cold water and same with the bathroom sinks. The downstairs toilet had a 40cm step which was an accident waiting to happen. The bed was comfortable enough. We were supplied with the very minimal cutlery and crockery. There was no milk for the tea or coffee. The restaurant food was very mediocre. There was a huge break in the front wall and exposed wiring in another wall. The 2 tvs only had 4 out of 65 chanels working. The staff were lovely and had no problem with them. The villa needs a bit of work. The gardens were lovely and so was the pool. We expected it to be a bit nicer when paying over 100 a night.

Great Place

The staff at Uppala are all exceptional, very friendly and welcoming. Every member of the staff provide a 5 star service. The villa was very clean and private. The air conditioner is old and not very good, that is the only complaint we had, other than that, we had a very good experience and would stay there again.
