  • Some villa accommodations have private pools
  • Kids are welcome at this family-friendly resort
  • Even locals will recommend the authentic Balinese dinners and dance shows at the Amphitheatre

  • Being close to nightlife means there can be noise at night; those looking for seclusion should book a pool villa
  • The sea is beautiful but often too rough for swimming; stick to the pool
  • Free WiFi
  • You’re on island time now, so service, while reliable, can seem slow

The Best!
Reviewed 16 hours ago

The Oberoi Bali is our favourite Hotel. We have been many times and it never disappoints. We just spent 17 nights there and celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary.... it was wonderful. The staff are amazing to all guests and there is a level of attention to detail that I’ve never experienced anywhere else. John Halpin the general manager obviously has the magic touch when it comes to running the hotel. I truly cannot fault the Lanai we stayed in and the Frangipani Cafe overlooking the beach is the perfect way to start the day. Kura Kura Restaurant with Chef Enrico Wahl is superb fine dining. We have dined at many of the restaurants in Bali and Kura Kura is arguably the best. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained, the buildings low and reflect the Balinese Culture. It is a restful haven in the bustle of Seminyak. We shall return!

Heaven in Seminyak

I have always wanted to stay here, having tried many hotels in Bali. This hotel is perfect in every way, exceptional service was the highlight and the grounds, accomodation and facilities provided a very high quality Balinese feel holiday.
My friend celebrated her birthday and the most delicious gluten free chocolate birthday cake was made for her, we also loved Wayans poolside service, so professional and welcoming.
We will be back, I wouldnt stay anywhere else.

Impeccable Service and Cleanliness

I stayed at the Oberoi for 3 days in January - I had been travelling with my family and while they went out to Lembongan I was on my own. I’ve never travelled or stayed in a hotel on my own, so I was feeling very lonely but wow.......The Oberoi was such a wonderful, relaxing and welcoming hotel. I absolutely loved it. The staff treat their guests like royalty. Poolside, the staff set up your towels on the lounges, bring you ice water, supply sunscreen, cold water spray bottles and cold face towels, then position your umbrella to suit your needs. Each day they offer afternoon tea and a traditional show, there’s a selection of fruit, handmade biscuits and snacks. I didn’t eat at any of the restaurants as Seminyak has a wonderful selection of restaurants. The grounds surrounding the hotel are stunning and so peaceful - perfect after returning from the hustle and bustle of Seminyak. This isn’t a hotel I’d bring my family to, great for couples who like exceptional service and peaceful surroundings.

Iconic hotel, beautiful location, most friendly staff!!!
Reviewed 1 week ago

We had the pleasure to spend 4 nights in this incredibly beautiful and iconic hotel in a traditional balinese style. The location is fabulous. The beach is stunning. The whole hotel area is so beautiful, is very big and green and so quiet and so relaxing. However, just a few steps away, there are plenty of shopping opportunities, and bars, and restaurants. We planned to check several restaurants but finally, we stayed in the hotel and enjoyed the outstanding kitchen of the restaurant Kura Kura, where Enrico Wahl, a Michelin Star chef, is providing culinary creations to die for. Not only is he a divinely gifted cook/artist but also one of the most lovely and interesting persons we have met. In general, the whole team has been so extraordinary nice and friendly and made us feel like friends instead of guests. We are in the lucky position to have been able to stay in a couple of beautiful hotels but it is not usual to get an invitation from the General Manager and we really enjoyed the whole atmosphere and conversation a lot. Thank you so much John, Enrico, and the whole team who made our stay wonderful and unforgettable. When we will come back to Bali, we definitely will come back "home" to the Oberoi.

Beautiful Oberoi

Everything you read is true, the Oberoi really is an Oasis in the Seminyak jungle. This was our first trip to Bali and I’m sure we would not have enjoyed it as much without such a beautiful hotel to call home. From breakfast on the beach to sunsets by the pool, this is a magic place.
