Overview

An immaculate private-pool retreat surrounded by rice paddies and a short drive away from central Ubud

The Lowdown

The newly opened Sativa Villas sits pristine and hidden away by lush foliage in the heart of Ubud. Each spacious, luxurious villa is equipped with modern amenities, as well as a kitchen and dining area. Styled with chic, contemporary furnishings and large windows welcoming in bright sunshine, the villas offer an ambiance of calm and pure relaxation.
You’ll be in your own private tropical paradise, with each villa sitting in front of a beautiful pool and offering private gardens. Kept separate from other villas by towering hedges, these retreats allow you to luxuriate in private. Sativa Villas also has its own spa center and a much larger communal pool.
Staying at Sativa Villas also keeps you close to central Ubud. Just a five-minute drive away, past hills of paddy fields, the cultural center of Bali is perfect for getting to know the island better. Walk through the mystical monkey forest, try the famous “dirty duck” and “babi guling” – basically crispy duck and a pork-based rice dish – or take time to explore the treasure trove of cultural landmarks.

Amazing Stay!!
Reviewed 2 days ago

My three days stay at Sativa in the first week of December 2018 was a great one. The overall feeling was really nice as the place is situated around 2-3 kilometres from the centre so you have a lot of time and peace for yourself, also you can take a scooter on rent which is a good deal to see the nearby areas. The breakfast was limited but very tasty and the staff namely Muliani, Deddy and Gusti were really co-operative and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Quiet, peaceful and beautiful villa.

We stayed there at 1 bedroom villa for one night over the weekend, the villa was beautiful and big for 1 bedroom villa size.
there was private swimming pool, the size was decent, the villa provided a fridge, cutlery and cookware.
The service was warm and friendly.
The only things we didn't like was the window in the bathroom, it was nice but a glass with opening on top side and the opening was pretty big for insects or small reptiles to get inside the bathroom, it's pretty creep.

lovely..5 minutes from town

Zen holiday for a large family
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We got 3 villas for our family. We stayed in the 4 bedroom villa. It had everything you needed and was super clean. All the 3 villas were very comfortable and clean, modern and sleek. The staff especially Komang the manager were extremely helpful with practically everything, taxis, info on Ubud etc. We had massages and yoga by our pools. Totally relaxing and beautiful place to stay. I would recommend it to any friend. The villas are well suited for families or medium sized groups as we all had our own pools and privacy. One of the best holidays my large family has ever taken. My family had booked Sativa many months earlier as we were attending a wedding of one member of our family. I had to communicate with Komang frequently. He answered very promptly and agreed to all of the things I asked for. Some of us had travelled from the US and London that day and our flights arrived early in the morning, Komang agreed to get 1 villa ready so they could shower and take a nap after such a long flight. We were very pleasantly surprised at the Villas. I had thought it would be a messy family holiday but it turned out to be a very Zen experience as we were provided with everything we needed. Thank you Sativa Villas for taking such good care of us.

Heaven on earth

Where do I start with this beautiful part of the world. From the stunning villa to the staff who really can't do enough for you. I would recommend Sativa to anyone. It's set in beautiful surroundings, around 20 minutes from Ubud centre and has some wonderful eating places on its doorstep.
