The resort’s 40 villas, which range in size from one to six bedrooms, are inspired by classical Balinese architecture, with two or three pavilions surrounding a courtyard garden with a swimming pool, outdoor shower, and sun loungers. The Karma Lounge restaurant is open-air and surrounded by tropical palms and sweet-smelling frangipani trees. The chefs prepare local dishes and Western comfort food using ingredients from nearby farms, and live musicians often play anything from jazz and blues to traditional Balinese gamalan music. The Karma Spa offers an array of treatments from oxygen infusion facials to Balinese massage.
In the Area
The resort is on the shores of Jimbaran Bay, the hub of Bali’s nightlife and surf scene. The Pura Luhur Uluwatu temple, the most sacred of the eight cardinal temples on the island, is located just a 15-minute drive away; it’s dramatically suspended on a rock outcropping high above the waves. The concierges can also arrange game fishing, whitewater rafting, Balinese cooking classes, cultural encounters in ancient villages, shopping in local markets, climbing a volcano, scuba diving with giant manta rays, and kite surfing.
How to Get There
The resort goes out of its way to please. The staff cannot do enough to please. We will definitely return. We were provided fresh fruit every morning. Housekeeping attended our villa twice a day. The villa pool was cleaned once a day. The position is very central and is surrounded by a large variety of restaurants and international quality hotels and their amenities. Jimbaran beach is just across the road to access stunning sunsets and fresh on the beach dining a tover 80 competing fish restaurants. Transport is easy to access the other beaches and entertainment on the island. Definitely a great place to stay.
overall experience was good but just not satisfied with the room service and also the breakfast foods. everyday menus should included different meat and more variety to choose from. The breakfasts we had during our stay just too simple and not much to choose from friends and myself did not really happy for this prestigious resort will provided that simple not much choose breakfast. i hope this should be improved
The place was very nice. Staff was courteous and attentive to us. The villa is quite big. breakfast is just ok limited for us specially for halal food. Overall quite happy to stay here in Jimbaran but i would think twice to stay here again as i have other choice to choose.
I stayed at villa 19 a privately owned villa. had breakfast at your restaurant and also at Kandara where I spent two days on the beach. Fantastic hospitality and good care to myself and my friends. Very professional staff. Breakfast at Karma Jimbaran must be better though.
The effort of all staff ensured we had a most enjoyable and relaxing holiday. We will be back and can thoroughly recommend to others. All pre holiday enquiries were answered in timely and efficient manner.
