Bedroom Elegant Hip Luxury Modern Suite property condominium living room Resort home mansion Villa

Overview

An elegant, exclusive retreat of just 40 expansive pool villas steps away from the white sands of Bali’s beguiling Jimbaran Bay

The Lowdown

The resort’s 40 villas, which range in size from one to six bedrooms, are inspired by classical Balinese architecture, with two or three pavilions surrounding a courtyard garden with a swimming pool, outdoor shower, and sun loungers. The Karma Lounge restaurant is open-air and surrounded by tropical palms and sweet-smelling frangipani trees. The chefs prepare local dishes and Western comfort food using ingredients from nearby farms, and live musicians often play anything from jazz and blues to traditional Balinese gamalan music. The Karma Spa offers an array of treatments from oxygen infusion facials to Balinese massage.

In the Area

The resort is on the shores of Jimbaran Bay, the hub of Bali’s nightlife and surf scene. The Pura Luhur Uluwatu temple, the most sacred of the eight cardinal temples on the island, is located just a 15-minute drive away; it’s dramatically suspended on a rock outcropping high above the waves. The concierges can also arrange game fishing, whitewater rafting, Balinese cooking classes, cultural encounters in ancient villages, shopping in local markets, climbing a volcano, scuba diving with giant manta rays, and kite surfing.

Wonderful Experience

Lived up to the highest expectation. We will be back in July. Our family cannot wait to return to their home away from home. Relaxing and peaceful experience with confidence in the security. Ideal location with the beach just over the road.

Not a five stars villa. Poor preparation and Housekeeping
Reviewed 4 days ago

Begin our four nights stay at Karma Jimbaran with great disappointment.First, some of the blinds are spoilt and we had to call for repair. Second, upon informing all the batherooms had no toothbrush and toothpaste, the Housekeeping personnel came and merely left nine dental kits on the dining table. I would have expected her to put the dental kits in the respective batheroom. Third, the wifi was down and had to be fixed. Fourth, ants were crawling around the floor, the kitchen table and even the complimentary fruit platter. Fifth, there were no turn down service. We were informed during checking in that there will be turn down service at 1700 but no one came. Having been to Bali more than three times and knowing all villas commonly provide turn down service. I called to request for it at 1830. The assistant housekeeper, NESA, came and told me the insecticide and the mosquito coils were kept in the cupboard which I can take and use them. He lit up only two coils, leaving some coils on the kitchen TOP. I was shocked. He seemed to be telling me to do the turn down service by myself. This is my greatest disappointment. Lastly, and hopefully the last, the face towels provided looked so old and frayed at the edges. There were a lot of Technicians, Cleaners in and out of the villa in the first two hours of our entry. It is my fourth time here at Bali and sadly, this is my worst villa experience.

Thankfully, the staff is always smiling and polite.

Lovely hotel complex

Firstly, the staff. Absolutely faultless, genuine and welcoming people who did everything in their power to make our stay enjoyable. This includes the waitresses, pool man, everyone. Many thanks to every member of staff at Karma Jimbaran.
The place itself is near idyllic. The villas are huge with a private pool; the kitchens modern and clean; the bedrooms and ensuites enormous and luxurious.
The only bugbear is that there are a few areas that just need a bit of maintenance or are beginning to age. Nothing substantial but just enough to give the impression that the resort isnt quite as pristine as when it was first built.
That aside, our stay was incredibly enjoyable and we will happlily stay at Karma Jimbaran again in the future.

What A Stay In Karma Jimbaran
Reviewed 1 week ago

This is one of the memorable stays of luxurious hotel that I would recall.

Combined with great ambiance of the rooms and pool, plus added by the completeness of services and responsiveness of the staffs, our stay in Karma Jimbaran was totally amazing.

Location-wise, this place was so close to the beach where we could play around the beach to await sun to set when time is right.

Also, this place was within walking distance to Seafood Grilled Market which was always open on the evening.

I shall recommend you to stay for 2-3 nights to enjoy the magic of Karma as being the talks of others.

Wonderful holiday at Karma Jimbaran

Staff, location, rooms all wonderful!!! Thankyou!

Extra lighting in the rooms (especially to be able to read at night without the use of your I-Phone light😉 - would be wonderful!
As would extra hooks in the bedroom to hand a jacket, bathrobe...or a space to dry your towel.
