Had a wonderful stay at this very well run hotel with a fantastic staff.....Sara at Front desk was particularly helpful.....good food, nice, comfortable room. Shuttle to and from airport very efficient-on time! Also took us to car rental agency. Great place to stay In Evansville!

A really good start.

First, let me say the corner king suite was beautiful and very spacious. The furnishings, decor and lighting were tasteful and inviting. The bathroom were enormous and well appointed.
That said, this property is not living up to its potential. There is no mini bar or fridge, and there is no room service! I was particularly surprised given the table for eight in the sitting area, ideal for breakfast ensuite. There is no lobby bar to enjoy a nightcap or cocktail.
On arrival there is no bell or valet staff, and no carts for bags.
The front desk staff was adequate but not particularly engaging. Everything seems designed to funnel guests into the casino.
We loved the accommodation, but amenities and services are lacking.

We checked in went to room as much as you pay was disappointed no ref. or microwave the room looked liked it had not been dusted in a week the coffee pot still had coffee in it. We left the next morning when we came back in the afternoon house keeping had not been there, went to front desk told them we needed towels finally at 9 pm we got them very dispointed with this hotel for the high price of the room.

Beautiful hotel but a few issues
Reviewed 7 months ago

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location, connected to the casino, Cavanaugh's restaurant and across the street for the riverwalk. But there were some cleanliness issues in the room when we checked in: dirt on the bathroom floor, didn't look like it had been vacummed, crumbs on the dresser and stains or dirt on the duvet cover. We did not call anyone that night since we had already unpacked our stuff and didn't want to move rooms. Also, when we tried to get assistance later that evening from the front desk, their phones did not work. No matter what option we choose on the phone (front desk, bellstand, housekeeping, etc.) it either just rang and rang or cutoff. We tried using our cells to call the main number and still no assistance or answer. I think our biggest complaint, though, was when we brought up the issues to the front desk agent at check-out the next morning. We wanted ,management to be aware of the issues so they could fix things for the next guest. She was more concerned with pointing out that our room was complimentary (although to be quite honest we paid a decent amount of money for the certificate at a silent auction event, so it wasn't complimentary to us), almost implying we should not complain about issues. Which is not a way to handle complaints.
