How to Get There
I hope this review finds its way to the management of this hotel. First, our stay was lovely. The rooms and amenities are amazing but I really want to give a shout out to a wonderful girl on staff who greeted us with the warmest welcome each day and although she was there to clean our room, she went above and beyond to make us feel at home and cared for. Her name is Kiran and on our last day she showed up at our door with her beautiful smile and a handmade gift. I must say to the hotel management that if Kiran is an example of the rest of your staff, you are very lucky indeed. I feel very blessed that she was assigned to our room on November 10, 2019.
We have stayed at many hotels and written many reviews, but, in terms of service, this is by far one of the best hotels I have stayed at. If I could give it 6 stars I would.
Quite simply the staff here are excellent, they go above and beyond all expectations, and are so remarkably attentive. I cannot praise them highly enough. They contacted me prior to arriving to find out some details that allowed them to add that personal touch.
The hotel is lovely, bright and spacious. Our room was comfortable with a nice garden view and was exceptionally clean. Wifi was free and was very quick. Breakfast offered a large range of items; local food, cereals, cakes, pastries. We ate at the restaurant several nights and enjoyed the food immensely, and found it very reasonably priced. Same day laundry is also available provided it is submitted by 10am.
There isn’t much in the vicinity of the hotel, but a tuk tuk or uber, which the hotel were happy to arrange, can get you to Ernakulum or Fort Kochi in about 10-15mins for 200 INR.
I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, we had an amazing stay! Thank you to all the staff for making our holiday so memorable.
I, along with my wife and five year old stayed at this property over a weekend and were completely blown away by the exceptional hospitality extended by the team. The team led by GM, Jishnu Veliyath, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. When we wanted a local delicacy that wasn't part of the menu, Chef Rizwan made special arrangements to source the material and cook the dish for us. Others including Kartik, Tinu, Alan extended special attention to all our needs. The property is relatively small - around 80 rooms - and this probably allows for personalised attention. It is well located in a quiet environment, has a good pool and wonderful rooms. And ofcourse the exceptional service comparable to the highest standards that are characteristic of all Oberoi and Trident properties in the country
