Reviews
This Westin is clean and meets Westin standards. The rooms are spacious and full of amenities like water, coffee, etc. I like this hotel in that they allow you 500 points to forsake cleaning your room each day.
There’s a Starbucks in the lobby in a nice restaurant attached. Looks like it’s good for conferences. There’s also ample parking.
I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and enjoy the ambience of the facility. The staff are friendly and efficient and there to help.
I try and book a corner room which are spacious and quieter than some of the regular rooms - these rooms command a premium price. Some of the furniture in the rooms is starting to look tired. The room doors are very noisy when closing which can be heard along the corridors to the rooms.
For the sze of the hotel the gym is rather small and gets very crowded at times.
Maybe there are newer and more polished hotels to stay in but I like the establishment.
Had nearly a dozen stays at the hotel. Was extremely disappointed to see a draconian enforcement of their cancellation over an early departure with the property billing me the full rack rate for the hotel above and beyond my initial reservation. It was disappointing to see how they treat a customer with lifetime titanium elite status, 1600 nights with Marriott, and who had nearly 30 room nights reserved through the rest of the year.
Other things they need to address:
- Horrible breakfast for elite members on the 16th floor
- Rude customer service operator who mocked me for what I ordered from room service one night
- No differentiation in treatment for elite guests
This hotel has enjoyed being sold out given their many nearby corporate clients they have forgotten how to take care of guests.
