How to Get There
As others have mentioned, the hotel is undergoing renovation. This isn’t the issue.
Seriously, no service elevator? Why am I riding the elevator in my suit while construction workers are clogging the area, taking up more than half the space and boarding with dirty equipment?
I got to see both the old and renovated rooms, as I had them switch me.
The in-room Air Conditioning has got to be the loudest I’ve ever heard. And I travel a lot. And that was in a newly updated room. I went downstairs and requested a switch, so the gave me the old tower....same problem.
The walls and doors are paper thin. You’ll not only hear door slamming shut throughout the day and night, but the vibration will shake the headboard.
News flash to hotels and those working on remodels...SOFT CLOSE DOOR HINGES. It’s a thing. Look it up.
One redeeming quality, the bar downstairs was decent. But that and the Ruth’s Chris on site are not enough to bring me back.
Rooms are small, HVAC is loud, no service elevators and hallway noise is stupid loud
Modern looking room...which was pretty nice. The staff didn't seem concerned about not getting any sleep due to the fridge...when i mentioned it to them they acted like it was in my head. I told them they needed a new one and they should go up and listen to it.
We had friends who stayed there this weekend and we visited them in their room. Within minutes of entering their room we were overcome by the fumes and developed a severe headache. The hotel is doing renovations in that tower and all of the fumes and vapors from the work seem to be getting into the HVAC system. They got a new room for the second night in the South Tower. Hotel is ok otherwise, just ok. Nice staff.
