How to Get There
This was a great hotel to stay at. Everyone was so courteous and helpful. The room was clean and just perfect for our one night stay. The location was perfect. My husband had a meeting and I was able to go shopping! Easy access to everywhere I wanted to go. We checked out early so the room could get ready for the next guest and were able to store our luggage until it was time to leave. Awesome hospitality.
Fair warning, this hotel is under renovation but I have to say they are handling it very will. The older rooms, while dated are still nicely appointed and clean. The renovations are not really intrusive and the hotel staff is very nice and accommodating. This is definitely not a flagship Renaissance property but I enjoyed my stay and have no complaints.
I just don’t understand how a hotel in this group can be so run down, dirty and such poor value. My room was over looking the freeway and the noise was terrible and when I complained to reception and asked for ear plugs was told I would have to buy them for $2.99, it’s just mad! However in the end I could not hear the freeway as the AC was like having a motor bike in the room ! I have travelled a lot and this hotel really is my first 1 star review. It’s like going back in time from the moment you look at the dirty entrance to the worn out rooms it’s amazing that anyone uses it. I was looking forward to coming to the U.S but frankly this hotel spoilt it. I can’t believe that the hotels in China are so much better than here (how did this happen?) avoid this place you can do much better.
