First class service
Reviewed 5 days ago

The service and staff are first class and the rooms are very quiet, which is one of the most important aspects of a hotel stay for me. We were visiting for the weekend and we did stay at the executive level. However, the executive lounge has very limited hours on the weekends, which was very disappointing. That was probably the only negative thing I can say about this excellent hotel.

Worth the stay

Great hotel and location. The rooms are perfect for relaxation and work. Christin Grader and Patricia Yniguez were so helpful and accommodating during the planning for our group to stay at the hotel. The IRD staff was always prompt, friendly and helpful....even the order takers were always pleasant. Great gym! Bring a bathing suit for the indoor pool.

Absolutely one of the best weekends I've ever had!

I was able to celebrate my 60th birthday over a weekend in January at the JW with my family. From the time that we checked in with Lillian at the front desk who was awesome to the top of guest service with Lisa and Brianna. We ask the staff for a slightly larger room for my daughter who had two small children and we needed the space to accommodate a meeting place for our family to gather. They more than fulfilled our needs! The pool and fitness area is also top shelf. I could not have asked to be treated any better and this is one of the reasons we keep coming back to this facility.

An Elegant, Superlative Hotel

Our stay at the JW Marriott Chicago was delightful in every way! They greeted us with an abundance of polite, friendly staff members who helped us get all of our things up to our room and seemed to anticipate our every need. The hotel has an opulent entry hall and staircase, and the building has lots of updated historic charm. The guest rooms are exquisite; very quiet, luxurious and elegant. This hotel is simply perfection!!

Chilly Weekend

The only reason this wasn’t a 5 was because of the variety & quality of Executive Lounge. This was such a disappointing experience and not compared to the other Exec. Lounge’s I’ve experienced on other JW properties. The spa was absolutely amazing and I would recommend the Hammann Experience.
Very spacious rooms and the lobby is inviting and intimate. The gift shop also has a very good variety of items & necessities.
