How to Get There
Perhaps this is a half step up from the average business hotel. It has a large lobby with a bar in the back. The doorman did not open the door when we arrived. For the most part the service in the front desk area was shoddy, even for an elite Bonvoy member. Where our meetings and lunches and most dinners were held, the service was excellent. Only rooms with full size beds were available which are somewhat small for me. The rooms themselves were about average to small in my opinion.
Size of rooms/bathrooms are fabulous!! Very accommodating and comfortable. No minibar or fridge while I was there. Elevators quick. Staff is professional. Wish the quick breakfast wasn’t so expensive. Obviously taking advantage that most guests are business travelers on the run. Very conveniently presented, but $14 for coffee and instant oatmeal - before tip. Ridiculous.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
I stayed at this hotel for a conference nearby and I chose the “green choice” option when I checked in. Their definition of green choice is not cleaning the room. In my extensive traveling experiences and staying at SPG hotels green choice means not changing the sheets daily but they still come in and clean the room and restock it fully with shampoo, soap, coffee etc.
To make matters worse there’s no refrigerator in their rooms and they wanted to charge us $20 per night for a refrigerator. Needless to say all of our food went bad because of their lack of customer services. Keep in mind we paid $350/night for this hotel!
