How to Get There
Housekeeping is the worst. It did not do what they are supposed to do. No housekeeping came to clean the room. They sent somebody after we complained; and did not change the linen. No cleaning was done. The hotel lobby is so small and dark. We will not come back to this place.
We stayed here for 3 nights and our room was never cleaned. We asked the staff multiple times to service the room but no one was ever sent even after being expressly promised that it would be done. On the last night they did a turn down service but nothing else was actually cleaned. The hotel itself was fine but would not stay again for this reason.
We stayed at this hotel for three nights while in town seeing the sights. It worked well for us and was easy to get around on foot. We could see the Hamilton theater from our room and went to see the play so that worked out well. The room was great and the service was friendly. The only heads up to give is that “room service” means “get food in the restaurant downstairs and bring it to your room in a bag”. No real complaints however - would stay there again.
Lovely hotel, spacious rooms with large view windows and fun roof top bar. Great location in the downtown area - near Millennium Park, the Art Institute, River Walk and all mass transit. Lots of restaurants nearby, and just steps from Hamilton. We were visiting son at UC, and it was an easy ride - used both the bus and Metra.
We had a very nice stay here. The rooms were sleek and modern. Shower was very cool- modern and minimal design. The staff were all friendly. The decor really made the place. I would have no second thoughts of staying again when in town.
