Perfect location
Reviewed 5 days ago

I stayed at the hotel for a week-end to explore Chicago. Staff was helpful, but they could improve the overall attitude. No one smiled at reception neither for check-in nor check-out. Rooms are modern and chic. I was in awe with the style. Bathrooms are very modern as well. Being so central positioned, it can be a bit noisy even on the upper floors. The rooftop bar has an amazing view. The food was good and so did the cocktails. The view is amazing! Being able to walk to key attractions was a big advantage. I would go back to this hotel in a heartbeat!

Great downtown location

Easy access to entertainment, from theaters to museums and parks. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to good restaurants and bars. Easy access to trains (to and from The airport). Gym could be improved.

Great Hotel in a great location.

Great room, very roomy and well appointed if you like modern design. Hotel restuarant is exceptional as are the surrounding food choices many within walking distance. I will be back on my next Chicago trip.

Easy location, great price, good experience

Came into town for business and it was an easy location; food was good (used room service for breakfast and dinner) and speedily delivered to my room. They have a lounge on the third floor that offered snacks, coffee, and tea - very cozy space.

Perfect for our plans

This hotel was perfectly situated for our needs!! My husband and I stayed on Saturday evening. We came in early on Saturday (we leave about 2 hours away) and found our parking garage. (NOTE: Use Spothero or similar app; the hotel parking is $69/night. We parked at the Citadel garage 2 blocks away for $15 for 24 hours!). We walked from the garage 3.5 blocks to the Art Insitute and then back to the garage to pick up our suitcase and then 2 blocks to the Hotel. We cabbed to dinner and back to the CIBC Theater and then walked 3 blocks back to the hotel. Our room was comfortable and quiet (on the 10th floor and we had a room with only a small window (we didn't need a view) facing away from the main streets). We got up and had a wonderful breakfast at the attached Bistro. Check-in and check-out were easy and efficient. We couldn't have been more pleased and will use this hotel again because of it's central location. Our only disappointment was that the bar closed at 11 before we returned from the show. We would have liked to have had a nightcap.
