How to Get There
Hyatt Centric was in a great location, in the middle of everything. Close to theater, great restaurants and the water front. Hotel was clean and comfortable and the 3rd floor lounge with snacks and water/coffee machine were a a nice touch!
I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the room was! It looked more "luxurious" than I was expecting it to be. Its located near so many shops and restaurants, all within walking distance. I was traveling for an event at Soldier Field and honestly didn't expect to spend much time in the hotel room. I even walked back from the stadium to the hotel after the event! This might be too long of a walk for some, but being from the city, it was a comfortable distance for me.
I'd recommend the Hyatt Centric the Loop to anyone visiting Chicago for any occasion.
Conveniently located, within walking distance to the museum campus, Millennium park, and train stations. Great location to for a historical walk of the architects in downtown Chicago. Many places to eat within a block or two.
Maids were noisy early in the morning, before 8 am on a daily basis.
Courteous staff. Hotel is going through some renovations but it is not as disruptive as one would expect. Rooms are very good, bed is very comfortable. Always love to have a reason to stay there...for work and leisure.
We stayed here while in town to catch a concert and the Hamilton show. The theatre is just a half block awau. Very nice part of town, with an Amazon Go store a block away. The staff here are super professional and friendly. The French restaurant has delicious food, as does the bakery.
