Amazing boutique hotel in the heart of the Gold Coast

The only review you need to read

This hotel is amazing from top to bottom. You’re taken care of from the second you walk into the door to the second you leave.

Claridge House was recently rebranded & they couldn’t have done a better job. From the decor, to the amenetities, to the super stylish rooms.

ROOM DETAILS (King):
Extremely comfy bed, with longer style pillows that make it easy to relax and unwind. The comforter is lighter (which is perfect during these hot summer days). However, they do have a blanket for use if you get a little chilly. You can also use your in room tablet to order more pillows, blankets, etc.

Theres a great sitting chair with a little ottoman to go with it. Along with a great floor lamp, its a perfect sitting area.

The desk area was a huge plus for me, as I brought my laptop/camera in order to get work done. The lamp on the desk has a plug in so you can charge your phone/tablet/computer easily.

The bathroom was great for the size. For just myself and a +1, it worked out perfectly. There was your standard shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the shower. As well as a body bar on the sink counter & a bar of soap.

**If you need a hairdryer, razor, toothbrush (anything like that) you simply order in via your in room tablet. You can also call down to the front desk to request any items you may need.

The wardrobe was great & had lots of perks. For starters, all hangers were the dual pant/shirt hanger style. So I was able to condense my items and hang my pants along with my shirts on the same hanger. There were also several drawers available for storage (I used them for storing my accessories). CHERRY ON TOP: a safe to keep all of your items…well..safe *pun intended

Clardige House is about 15 minutes walking distance from Magnificent Mile & most shopping. Along the walk there you will find lots of places to eat, drink, and browse around in.

Location wise, I would say this has been my favorite hotel I’ve stayed in in the Chicago area. I used to stay 2-3 blocks from Mag. Mile & it ended up being too much for me. This hotel is perfect for those who don’t mind a short walk in return for charming boutique views & less hustle and bustle.

Amenities were fabulous as well. There was a full size gym including free weights, cardio machines, and exercise balls.

On the same floor you can find a full service nail saloon, massage parlor, and vending/ice machines. *BONUS* They have a microwave next to the ice machine, so warm up those left overs! All of this is on the 2nd floor!

The wifi was super fast, even with uploading photos and videos to YouTube/social media sites. We even watched Netflix on my laptop and it came through perfectly.

Overall, I would rate the Clardige House Hotel 10/10. The staff was always eager to help, and we stayed 2 nights with absolutely no issues. I don’t have a single complaint (other than the heat). I guess thats what you get for coming to Chicago during a heat wave! BUT, the rooms stay ice cold with A.C. so it was worth it!

Amazing Anniversary

Customer care is amazing at this hotel from the front desk staff 5o the waiter in the restaurant. They also gave us a complimentary breakfast coupon for our anniversary and the food was amazing! We will definitely return for a future anniversary! Also the mattress in the rooms is amazing for anyone with tonic back pain .

Home away from home

Very nice hotel and good location. Everyone we came in contact with, front desk, bartender, housekeeping etc, were very friendly and helpful. Great sized modern rooms. The bed was comfortable and I must say the best pillows of anywhere I have stayed.

Bar and restaurant are a must! The Chef's tasting menu is a can't miss, and I am a foodie. If you don't get a chance to dine here just pop in for a hand crafted cocktail. Beautiful setting and areas to lounge in the bar.

Great hotel and location!

I liked everything about the hotel besides the greeting my wife and I received at the front desk. The rooms were small, yet very comfortable. They make good use of all the space. There is a lot to do in the immediate area, and just like most of Chicago you don’t really need a car. There is a parking garage right next door though if you bring one. There is a nice bar that I didn’t have the opportunity to partake in, but I did have breakfast in the a.m., and the avocado toast was awesome and a great deal. The coffee was excellent too!!

All staff were friendly and helpful. The decor is elegant, classy, yet modern and the beds are really comfortable. Room cleaning service was also exceptional. The location was perfect and convenient for all attractions. The restaurant was absolutely divine.
It was definitely an added bonus. I will be staying here again!
