Located on the 30th through 46th floors of one of the city’s tallest buildings, pretty much every view at the Four Seasons Chicago is birds’ eye. Rooms are an oughts take on mid-20th century French décor courtesy of designer Pierre-Yves Rochon with mod-cons like DVD players, flat-screen TVs and iHome docking stations. Downstairs, Michelin-starred chef Kevin Hickey serves farm-to-table regional fare. Sip a cocktail by the marble fireplace, peruse the hotel’s extensive art collection and unwind with a spa treatment or a dip in the glass-domed indoor pool with accompanying whirlpool.
In the Area
Set in prime Gold Coast territory, you’re walking distance from the swank Michelin-starred Spiaggia with its stunning city views. Continue your neighborhood food tour with decadent pastries from Hendrickx Belgian Bread Crafter and sidewalk sipping at the Purple Pig whose theme is swine, wine and cheese. The Chicago Cultural Center is one of the Windy City’s top landmarks, mostly because it has the world’s largest Tiffany dome on the second floor. But go up just two more flights of stairs to view world-class art in the galleries. Housed in one of two remaining buildings from the Great Chicago Fire, Lookingglass Theater features a series of alternately tragic and hilarious plays year-round.
How to Get There
Excellent service top to bottom as always. The Four Seasons Chicago is a beautiful facility. We've stayed here before and will do so again next time we are in Chicago. Especially commend the staff in the restaurant and bar areas.
We checked in for just one night at The Four Seasons Chicago for the first time this past weekend, and I just want say that we truly enjoyed our stay. The staff was excellent and we can’t thank them enough for the beautiful room on the 30th floor that had balcony access with an incredible view of the city and the lake. Just spectacular!
We also tried the lunch at the restaurant and everything was very good. Our server was considerate and knowledgeable. My wife had scallops that she said were among the best she’s ever had.
I’m sure we will be back sooner than later! A must-do in the already incredible city of Chicago.
The Chicago Four Seasons is the best of the best in Chicago. Staff is friendly, polite, helpful and just the best. Room was outstanding with a beautiful view of the lake and Oak Street Beach. The location is perfect. The Four Seasons is located in a beautiful building (900 North) where there is a 6 story mall. You can walk right into the top floor of the mall by taking the elevator one floor down. Perfect for winter. You will not even have to wear a coat, gloves and scarf.
Just three blcks south is the famous Water Tower Place which is an 8 story mall. Another beautiful shopping center.
There are litterally hundreds of restaurants and bars within walking distance.
