How to Get There
Great staff, location, amenities, cleanliness. Breakfast fruit, snacks plus 5:00 wine and cheese. Cold water , bottles available on each floor. Gym. Restaurants on the same block to choose from plus so many restaurants and attractions in walking distance!
Clean rooms, great staff, awesome location in the Chicago Loop. Close to attractions. Room was small with barely room for a bed, chair and desk, bathroom likewise small but fully functional. Staff was great, checkin/out was quick and painless. Would stay again, price was a bit high, but it's Chicago.
Perfect location for us to spend what was essentially a 2 day 'layover' of a longer trip. Easily walkable to the Art Institute, park, some clubs and plenty of food choices. The first room we were given overlooked the roof of an adjacent building and its AC units, definitely too loud for us country folk, but Pedro hooked us up with a tower room (Pedro rocks, seriously, check out 'adventone' on soundcloud, some Fun Lovin' Criminals vibe IMHO). The tower is trippy, only two rooms per floor, unexpected when the elevator doors open the first time lol.
Bed was very good, pillows a little fat but otherwise good, TV remote was a little annoying (aren't they all) but otherwise gave you Smart TV functions to log in to Netflix or whatever. Tip - don't go through the hassle of trying to log out, the remote ignores your moves, but apparently the TV's reset after checkout so no future guest can continue to use your account(s).
Called the front desk on a few occasions, all questions and requests were handled quickly and politely. They can get you a couple bucks off the double-decker bus tour that stops across the street (we did), which is good for a relatively quick (1 1/2hrs) viewing of some downtown landmarks and general city vibe. Would definitely stay here again.
