Good value for the money, especially for Paris

Nice, quiet hotel. As noted, a good value for the money, especially for Paris. Good size room and bed. Nice breakfast and bar, with very helpful staff. Only small complaint would be the power outlets seemed to be a bit hit or miss, even when using a converter - but I think that is what you get in these older building in Paris.

Three star hotel advertised as five star hotel

My wife and I booked this hotel on Hotwire for three nights. The hotel is a three star hotel advertised as a five star hotel. While the hotel is in a good location and the rooms are large, the room and hotel was in need of renovation. Our bathroom was filthy with an odd smell. there were flies around the toilet, and stains on the marble. We would not stay here again.

Good Hotel

I stayed here in June and the hotel was great. I don't think it was 5 star property however the hotel staff members were very helpful and made the stay comfortable. The rooms were decent sized. The rooms were cleaned everyday and it was just perfect for our stay in Paris. It had a nice cosy Parisian touch. It was very close to cafes and restaurants (5 to 7 mins walk). Train station was also nearby. The lifts were small and I guess it's like this all over Paris. The hotel had wood like marble near the lifts and looked a bit weird. However the hotel looked small but royal.

Nice place

My wife and I certainly enjoyed our stay; the staff was super friendly; “David” from Hong Kong was most accommodating and pleasant during cocktail hour. Convenient location. We would stay there again.

I was coming for a workshop in Paris, and I chose Victoria Palace over some other options due to its location and relative price compared to other properties in the area. The wi-fi has been solid, there's running water that doesn't take forever to get hot, and the room was really quiet on the 2nd floor. I was a solo traveler but there was plenty of room for another.

The breakfast downstairs is also well done. It helps to pre-pay for the breakfast in advance to save nearly half on the cost.

The staff was accommodating all around. For someone that doesn't know French (at all), the person working overnights was very accommodating, and the day staff was great as well.

Normally I don't leave these sort of all-positive reviews, but I appreciate the extra mile everyone showed to make my stay pain-free. I'd recommend them.
