Great locations - location location location and shopping

This place is located superbly nearby to great shopping centres, train stations. Quietly located in the shopping hub. The room is value for money for the price and location. Quite many restaurants in the surrounding and of course easily accessible to the Operas theatres.

Hotel is well situated in the shopping / cafe area. Clean rooms albeit a bit small we had the studio room and there were no places to put our suitcases bit that's a small point. Staff very friendly and spoke good English. Would recommend .

Decent enough place

This hotel is a mixed bag.

The staff is excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The location is pretty good. Very close to luxury shopping and the train station.

The elevator was broken for most of my stay. It would work 1 day and be broken the next or even that evening.

There are homeless around but they weren't loud while I was there except for the first evening when some jerk was playing the bongos past 11pm.

When I came the connecting door was left unlocked. This caused me a bit of anxiety as the night manager couldn't find the key at all. It was locked the next day qhen I returned from work but I didn't feel safe leaving my stuff in there the first day so I carried my electronics to work. A bit heavy.

Breakfast was excellent if expensive.

The room was nice but so tiny.

But my overall impression wasn't a terrible one.

Lot of HOMELESS in Front of Hotel Making Loud Noise at Night !!!

Location is great for shopping but imagine could not sleep at night!! The hotel facing loading dock of the department store opposite.
Lot of homeless people gathering in front of a hotel making super loud noise at night until very late then 5-6 am all the trucks came & nightmare begin another round with super loud from loading dock opposite the hotel even we stayed on highest floor. Price is not cheap compared to quality.

Great 2-bedroom suite; great hot vegetarian breakfast options; fine location near metros
Reviewed 4 months ago

Our family of four adults stayed at the hotel for seven nights in a two bedroom suite. It was an extremely pleasant stay and I highly recommend it. Staff were pleasant and helpful, starting with their ability to let us check in to our room three hours early. Thank you! We arrived at the hotel at about noon and it was great to be able to get settled into the room before setting out on our touristing activities.

I had paid in advance for the daily breakfast buffet so it was half price, but honestly it was good enough that I would have been fine with paying the full fee. They had hot items including scrambled eggs (yes!), meat/sausage, green beans, baby potatoes, and also a DIY egg-boiler. Also provided were several cheeses, breads and mini-breads/pastries including croissants, pain au chocolat, and madeleines, and also tarts including fruit tarts, and on one lovely morning even a chocolate tart! (Maybe on more mornings too but we were early risers and the two tart trays weren't always both occupied while we were there.) Also they had fruit such as apples and bananas, cut fruit, juices/coffee, and espresso/cappuccino from a machine (and the machine had a bean grinder so the espresso was actually quite good). Small complaint - the scrambled eggs were the typical powdered variety, and most of the time they were placed in the serving tray while not fully cooked - meaning, goopy. Edible but not very appetizing; we ate them for the protein though (we're vegetarian).

We didn't ask anything unusual of the staff so I can't comment on their knowledge of the area, but the three people we spoke to most often were friendly/jocular and had very good English. They printed some concert and museum tickets for me without issue. (You do this by emailing them the files for printing on their printer; they don't have a "business center" with a computer for resident use.)

Note that the kitchen in a two-bedroom suite is the same extremely tiny one that you see in the photos for the one-bedroom units. Two burners, small microwave, small kitchen-style sink, mini-fridge, and micro-dishwasher. I had wanted a kitchen in case we felt the need to cook (vegetarian) dinners in the suite, and I would have been OK frying up some veggie burgers and microwaving some frozen vegetables, but a "real" meal for four people wouldn't really be possible. But, we did get restaurant delivery two nights from deliveroo (which was great), and the suite's plates/utensils/cups/mugs came in very handy. The dishwasher, small as it was, worked perfectly and I was super happy not to have to hand wash *any* dishes during our stay.

The location is excellent - clean and safe, with everything you need nearby. We rode the metro a *lot* during our week there, and we visited all the surrounding metro stations, giving us the ability to pretty easily get anywhere in the city, often without having to change trains. (We were willing to walk an extra few minutes on either end to do that, but changing lines wasn't that big a deal even when we did need to.) Just a 30-second walk away (or less) was a giant Monoprix that had basically anything you could think of. After a three minute walk you arrive at an excellent boulangerie (Le Grand Opera) that had breads/croissants/etc in the morning and lovely pastries in the afternoon; we discovered Le Grand Opera on Day 4 of our trip and we went there at least once daily after that.
