Great location but a very noisy hotel
Diane B

Stayed for a week at the Residhome Paris Opera and found the location was convenient- close to Monoprix, Galeries Layfayette and metro stations. Also very close to Roissy Charles de Gaul bus. A restful nights sleep was very hard to achieve as it was one of the nosiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The loading docks for Monoprix and the sports shop opposite the hotel meant noisy trucks in the early hours of the morning disturbed us. This was particularly bad on Friday night as they were restocking the stores for the weekend. The homeless people nearby were also noisy and used the area near the hotel entrance as their toilet- it was very unpleasant. The Reception staff were not welcoming except for the girl who checked us in but unfortunately we didn’t encounter her again. The room was dirty with rubbish from the previous guest left on the floor.
I would not stay there again.

Never again

Our stay was not the best. The staff on the desk had very little understanding of English. I cant travel in lifts which they were advised when we booked. We were told on arrival that they had no stairs and our room was on the 6th floor. Later we say people coming out of the stair well door. The rooms were clean but the lighting in the hall ways was quite dark and always had trolleys and rubbish in them left by the cleaners. I believe if you are in the front desk you should be at least able to speak some English. The breakfast was nice but again the girls working there had no understanding of English, we had learnt some French before our holiday but not Spanish. The front of the building was not like on google, and at night all the drunks and druggies hung around in the little street near the entrance.

Adequate for apartment-style hotel

Hotel facilities were adequate and complete. Service was not very good, but probably typical for France. Suzie was extra nice so kudos to her. Location is close to major shopping and easy to get around city, but road is narrow and was blocked by traffic early in AM upon arrival from airport. Also blocked by garbage truck when taxi came for us to leave. Homeless live nearby as well.
