Fantastic Service, Hotel and Restaurant
Reviewed 4 days ago

Had the pleasure of booking the 2 room family suite at the Renaissance and it was just what we were expecting, in addition the staff there could not have been any better as far as service and accommodating my families needs.

I would highly recommend booking with Marriott their “stay for breakfast” booking as the restaurant will honor as many people as you have staying in your room (we had 6).

Downtown Paris is not a great place to travel with younger kids but if you were to stay anywhere this would be the place....you will pay for it as our room hit close to $1400/night.

Very clean and like I said before....amazing service.

Cute Hotel in an awesome area with great service!

Charming Boutique Hotel--Great Service--Great Location

To enjoy our first-ever visit to Paris (one week in duration), my wife and I needed a full-service hotel with a staff that spoke strong English. (We did not have much time to learn French before this trip.) The staff of this hotel earned this high rating simply by their dedication to service. The concierge staff provided me with extensive (courteous, enthusiastic) support prior to my arrival, helping me plan my trip. During our stay, the staff was friendly and available to meet all our needs. Every member of the staff knew my name each morning. This cozy hotel just completed a full renovation that is very tasteful, bright and modern. We booked a 2BR/2BTH Family Suite that was essentially two standard rooms connected by a long hallway. The hallway provided extra space for our luggage. The bedrooms were bright, well decorated and about the size you would expect in Europe. The hotel restaurant (Balagan) offered an excellent breakfast buffet with eggs cooked to order. It had everything we needed and service was very good (again strong English speakers). For dinner, we did not try Balagan because of its Middle Eastern menu. But, we noticed Balagan was crowded each night with a young clientele enjoying a vibrant atmosphere that included dominant, lively music. There is an excellent Asian restaurant right across the street that we enjoyed twice, and plenty of other restaurants nearby. I enjoyed two, highly professional massages in the hotel spa. In addition to the great work by the hotel’s Concierge team, special thanks go to team members Max and Marina. Would love to return again one day.

Cozy hotel with the perfect location

Summary - Book here for a great Paris hotel, close to all the attractions.

Pros:
* The location is perfect. The area around is way more laid back than the zoo that is Champs Elysses. Plus it's easily within walking distance of a lot of the major attractions.
* The room was new and clean, bed was super comfortable, and had a nice little bathroom.
* The staff was very friendly and helped setup activities. The breakfast staff also deserves a special shoutout.
*The breakfast was great, good food and coffee.

Cons:
* Rooms are small, if you're expecting a huge resort then this isn't it. The room was great, just not large.
* There was still some construction going on that could interfere with any afternoon nap taking. Also, the door would rattle back and forth every time another door on the floor was slammed, they need to rework the door seal so it fits properly.

All in all, we had a great stay, there were a few negatives but I'd expect them to get ironed out. There would be no hesitation about staying here again.

We could not be more happy with the Renaissance Paris Vendome. Claudia checked us in and was very helpful and even showed us to our room. She suggested a wonderful cafe for lunch. The location is very convenient - we walked to the Louvre and along the Seine River. Our room has a little veranda which is perfect to enjoy a glass of wine after touring Paris.
