How to Get There
First off, the staff was super friendly and helpful, especially being we arrived one day late. Everyone was very fluent in English which was great. The location was perfect because we were attending a concert at Salle Pleyel, which was a 5 minute walk. The Arc and Champs are only a couple blocks away which was great and the cost per night was one of the lowest for a Marriott property that weekend. The lobby and bar/restaurant was nicely decorated. The bar has a excellent house red wine and breakfast and lunch buffets were full of upscale French cuisine. The room was nice a spacious as far as hotels in Europe go. But my wife is wheelchair bound and the accessible room we were given was more than adequate, even better than some in the States. Bed was great and the coffee bar and mini bar were very nice to have. Even enjoy our small little balcony. Only one thing missing was a gym or workout room but otherwise, great stay.
I recently stayed here for business. This is a great hotel with a location that can not get any better. Literally within steps of the Arc de Triomphe, it’s minutes from Champs-Elysees.
The room is also pretty good with good amenities.
The ladies at the Concierge were very helpful when I tried to locate where I could purchase something very particular.
when i arrived in the afternoon I immediately spotted that this hotel was somehow different. Really ugly and spacy on the outside, inside i sa a lot of plants and flowers which gave the hotel a nice touch. the staff at reception was super-friendly and offered refreshment water.
the rooms are nice and spacious, i think godd value, the bathrooms are ok and efficient. The bed was very good. there is a coffee-machine with nespressotabs and an ok minibar.
the mainbar on the groundfloor is spacious and very bright.
overall a nice place to stay
It was very confusing to decide to book at Renaissance Arc de Triomphe, Marriott Champ s Elysee, & Renaissance Vendome. We heard that Marriott Champs Elysee was old & needed a renovation while Renaissance Vendome was on small side regarding the room. We were glad that we chose this hotel. We stayed here for 5 nights with requested suite upgrade award certificate. The suite upgrade was rejected since they did not have a suite that was requested. They returned the suite upgrade awards into my account and upgrade us to a junior suite which was very nice of them. During our check-in, we received Balloon, Champagne, Macarons, and flower petals on the bed to celebrate our honeymoon. Thank you very much to the concierge team, Claire Delauney (Front Office Manager), Solveig Herth (General Manager), and Marie Fruneau Le Roux (Guest Relations Supervisor) for the upgrade and gifts for our celebration. They also wrote messages in the mirror which was very nice of them. We are really enjoy our stay there.
When we arrived, the bell boy helped us with our luggage. The receptionist, Ronan et Iris, was very nice and welcoming us to their hotel. We also received two free drinks at the restaurants. The room was very clean and big with lots of extra spaces. The bathroom amenities was BVLGARI. Every night during our, they did the turn down and left chocolates or candies on the bed. The bathroom was also very clean. The breakfast was lots of choices and delicious. The best time to visit is early morning when the potatoes and bacon still crispy. Overall, amazing stay and very recommended people to stay here during their visit to Paris.
The hotel located near Champs Elysees and Arc de Triomphe about 5 mins walk. There are two metros near the hotel. Therefore, it was very convenience. During our check-out, the metro was closed since we checked-out on Saturday and there was mass demonstration and the concierge helped us another route to airport which is by taking express bus. The express bus located near the arc de triomphe and go directly to the airport. He also recommended to buy it online since it is cheaper than directly to the driver. Also, it is cheaper than taking the train if you were in group.
Stayed here for 3 nights on a quick stay in Paris with my wife and two little girls (3 & 18 months). Decided to cash in on some suite night awards and was not disappointed. Some folks are saying they are having problems redeeming them but I couldn’t have been happier with my upgrade on this stay. Upgraded to the Arc De Triomphe/Eiffel Tower view suite and, holy crap, was it awesome! Really enjoyed the terrace and the views. Plenty of room for us and the kids. I was also really impressed with the staff, especially the restaurant staff! Mary was super helpful with breakfast and also had some great recommendations for Paris and Normandy, where we were headed next. Speaking of breakfast, I thought that was great as well. I’m always hesitant when going to a nice hotel with small kids but everyone went out of their way to make them feel welcomed as well. The restaurant staff brought them a cool little kids pack with a bunch of activities and stickers - this was most greatly appreciated. Before I set off on this trip to Switzerland and France I was on the fence about my loyalty to Marriott. After my experience at this hotel I couldn’t be more impressed!
