Overview

Contemporary sleep in Paris's shiny business district, a 10-minute metro ride from the Champs-Elysées

The Look

This contemporary property in the French capital’s business district was revamped in 2013 by Brazilian designer Marcelo Joulia. With an eye for cool and unusual light fittings, he updated the common areas with whimsical touches including blood-red corridors and bubbly light columns in the lobby and the bar.

Bed and Bath

Restyled by Christophe Pillet, the 382 guestrooms are simple and sophisticated. Soothing dove-grays mix nicely with dark woods and bright colors (red leather sofas, mustard-yellow chairs). The beds are flanked by Philippe Starck–inspired lamps, and the plush perks include Bose sound systems, large flat-screen TVs and Bigelow toiletries.

Beyond

At Quinte & Sens, chef Jean Paul Corbillet is in charge of the open kitchen and serves dishes cooked five ways (grill, plancha, wok, rotisserie and tandoori). Pair yours with a glass of wine from the Vinoteca, a cylindrical contraption that dispenses top-notch wines by the glass. With a live DJ and a happy hour on Thursdays, the bar can get lively. There’s also a corner café, a library with a connectivity lounge, and a small gym with cardio equipment and a steam room.

In the Area

La Defense is a busy downtown district, but it’s also a retail hub, with the Les 4 Temps mall and the CNIT convention and shopping centers holding more than 250 shops and a 16-screen cinema. Architecture fans will also appreciate the Grande Arche, which has become a Paris landmark, and Tour First, which at 757 feet is the tallest skyscraper in France.

Superb hotel in Paris

Was upgraded to a luxury room in the top-floor. Very nice rooms with a very high standard. High price for the room, and 27€ for breakfast, give average value for money. Nice location nearby shopping center and nice resturants.

Excellent

Fantastic location. 1 stop away from the city. Minutes away from a shopping centre with good food options. Excellent breakfast. Great service. Great beds. The family room was spacious and perfect for us and our 2 teens. I’d highly recommend.

Exceptional staff

It started a little awkwardly after a tough day travelling with a child, lost luggage, no one to assist us on arrival but WOAH did the staff here turn it all around. I arrived disheveled and in tears from a myriad of events and staff member Gregory went above, beyond, above again, beyond a bit more, then even further....After a few weeks travelling in Europe my son and I experienced the finest service at this hotel and I'm ever so thankful. Gregory watched and observed and then did everything possible to make us comfortable. I will never be able to thank Gregory and his team enough. You really looked after us beyond all expectations. Thank you Gregory.

Fantastic service, Fantastic Hotel

Me and my Girlfriend booked here as we were going watching Ed Sheeran at the Stade De France. As it happened, it was also our 1 year anniversary together so i decided to email the hotel to see if it was possible to pay and have roses and flowers put in the room (I know... Top boyfriend). Not only did they assist with that but they also gave us a free upgrade to one of their suites. It was fantastic!! But that is not all.. when we arrived, the woman on reception also gave us a voucher to take to the bar in exchange for two free drinks (beer, wine, spirit, cocktails) as well as also adding two free drinks and deserts in the room along with the flowers and roses. I honestly couldn't thank them anymore, especially Mahrine & Louise who made our anniversary feel so so special.
Service aside, the hotel is fantastic. We stayed for 3 glorious nights and everything was so easy. The hotel is located right near a shopping mall that has a metro built inside making it easy access to anywhere in Paris for as little of 2 euros each one way. Its certainly great for anyone is isn't keen on staying right in the heart of Paris with the noise, traffic etc..
Breakfast was good and not to pricey at around 10 euros each. There's plenty on offer but we just stuck to the Croissants & fruit with plenty of coffee (we are in Paris after all)
I honestly couldn't recommend this hotel anymore and for the price it is fantastic. We got a deal online which cost about £170 for the 3 nights which considering your in a 5 star hotel in the center of Paris is a bargain in my opinion.
I will certainly be staying here again at some point in the future and would highly recommend anyone who is think of going to Paris does too.

Special thanks
