How to Get There
Went with a group of friends. Upon landing, I called to see if my friends could check in to their room ahead of time since the reservation was under my name. They checked in without a hitch. Once we checked in, the front desk were so nice and offered us choices for our room within our category type of Art Deco: King Bed. Complimentary waters were provided before we got to our room.
The hotel room was very beautifully furnished. I truly enjoyed the marble bathroom too. Very luxurious.
Room cleaning and turn down service always came when we weren’t there (thankfully) and did a great job replacing towels, even when we didn’t place them on the floor.
Front desk was always kind to provide extra water bottles when we asked. Thank you!
We never ate at the hotel. We did stay for drinks and snacks at the lounge and listened to the DJ. We enjoyed the creative cocktails.
Location wise: it can’t be beat. Loved that it’s right next door to the Four Seasons! (You should go for drinks there too. The lobby is so pretty!)
Oh and hotel does provide umbrellas if it rains. Hopefully it won’t rain when you visit though.
First time visit to Paris. Property was beautiful and the front desk was very friendly. We received a tour of the amenities and room.
Bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. Great location and easy walk to awesome luxury shopping.
The bar area had a good DJ on Friday night.
The one thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars was the lack of attention received in the bar upon arrival. Was seated immediately but the bar staff did not greet us, set up place settings or provided water. No one asked if we were ready to order. That was a disappointment but the only one for the stay.
Hope to visit again in 2019
The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. You definitely won't be dissapointed. You really feel like you're in a 5 star hotel.
The only downside is that the service is a bit reserved. They don't really acknowledge you when you come in or out or take too much of an interest in why you're there - which I suppose is fine for some people! I prefer the style of service where the hotel staff tries to help you out and anticipate your needs and is very friendly (especially because we were on our Honeymoon). However, if you need anything, they do help you right away. A couple of the times, our room wasn't completely refreshed but when we called them, they immediately remedied the situation.
I would recommend staying here if you prefer a quiet place to stay with high quality rooms!
The only best thing I like here is the art on the walls!
Now the least good things; first was the concierge on the phone and porter could not or did not make any effort to check our pre-checkin delivery from DHL. Then it’s the constant construction drilling last 2 days. First day at breakfast we had to queue at 9:30 watching the staffs chatting and slowly clearing tables for about 8 people waiting. We were 5 mins lucky because the couple before us decided to leave. Breakfast is ok, has sort of the basics, cappuccino taste burn, one of the staff forgotten our bacon with scramble eggs - at least they were nice, but...
Then the pepper mill on our table is empty, next morning too!
What a pity This is a prime great location right next Four Season George V. Maybe it’s next a good thing, yes you can plagiarized the bouquet in the lobby but not the service.
My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel for my birthday/Thanksgiving, and everything about it was lovely and perfect. We got upgraded to a Mosaic Suite which has to be one of the nicest/largest rooms we’ve ever stayed in (compared to a Four Seasons or St. Regis or Ritz) and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. We arrived to a beautiful fruit basket/wine from the manager, and on my birthday they delivered a lovely champagne/chocolate treat. Even the breakfast staff knew it was my birthday and came up to me to wish me a wonderful day! The hotel is extremely well managed, and housekeeping was flawless (we came back to a spotless room each morning and night). We like to walk so the location is wonderful for sightseeing during the day, and in the evening we easily Ubered to/from the hotel to our restaurants in the 6th, 11th, etc. We were sad to leave this hotel/staff/city, but will definitely return. Thank you for making our visit truly special!
