How to Get There
My daughter and I stayed here on the 29th and 30th of December. The rooms were city sized and Marilyn Monroe themed. However we got a room with one large, round bed, which aside from being weird for us to stay in gave no room to walk around. There was no real place to put luggage or personal items. The sink/shower door was at the foot of the bed and all glass, as was the shower door (with colored lights that changed). Luckily my daughter and I were able to avert our eyes when we each showered! Our first night there we got stuck in the elevator. We did not know what floor we were on (turns out between the 1st and 2nd). We used the emergency call and then called the hotel. They told us they would have us out within the hour. Then didn't let us know what was going on, and honestly could have walked to the shaft and talked to us because my daughter is claustrophobic and said she was going to throw up. We were then stuck in a small elevator with just enough room for 2 people to sit in the floor. There was only a red light and Casablanca movie was playing on a screen. It was horrible. When we got out (fortunately only 20 minutes later) no one was too concerned. My daughter couldn't stop crying. They offered us a free drink. We wanted to leave then but they said we couldn't get our money back. They wouldn't take anything off the bill. We walked up the 5 flights the rest of our trip and after we checked out and came back to use the restroom when we got our bags they told us in was in the basement and only accessible by elevator. We walked to the mall across the street. The area was nice with cute restuarants and shopping, but if you go, don't use the elevator!
Great hotel in a perfect location. Staff so friendly and helpfull. Bed was extremely comfortable. Shower great. Dont like the glass door between room and bathroom but thats just my taste. Would definitely return.
This is a lovely boutique hotel, well located near a metro station, neighbouring restaurants and shops, and approximately a twenty minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. We were greeted at reception by Alain, who was as helpful as possible. The hotel is full of character and is beautifully decorated.
My family and I stayed here for four nights and had wonderful time. Very conveniently located in Paris close to everything. Clean room and friendly staff. Definitely would recommend this place. Thanks
The theme is Marilyn Monroe with each room having different decor all around the Hollywood superstar, there is a movie playing in the lift (Some like it Hot, when we were there) and the breakfast room has an American diner theme to it. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and there is even a little sauna / steam room in the basement which was perfect after a long day walking around Paris. Our room was quite small, but well appointed with a funky black and pink bathroom. We definitely hope to return.
