How to Get There
I stayed 3 months in that hotel where i found a General Manager Claudio Ceccherelli who is a lier. He sold me 60 nights with discount 15 days before a very serious strike from the employees of the hotel without informing me in advance ! Claudio Ceccherelli disrespect his employees and blackmail his clients! I stayed in the suite 3 days while in renovation (noise, dust, plastic, no bathroom from 9am to 4pm). The managers didn’t sent me any message to apologize or any other option to change the room. The Operations Manager Roger Saad is a fake manager he has the title but he act as a hostess or PR of the hotel ! Claudio Ceccherelli General Manager helped by a former colonel from the French Army Frederic Huget Director of the Security forced me to pay a prices I didn’t agreed to, they sequestrated me in the room for +2h and the Police of their area didn’t do anything to them ... I am a client who payed from 10/09/18 until 14/12/18 the amount of 71.000€ to be treated as a dog ! I decided to open a case in France and overseas against them. The hotel is good and comfortable but the top Management of Park Hyatt Paris Vendôme is extremely bad, not professional and not honest they didn’t pay proprely their employees but they steal proprely their clients !... I didn’t advice to stay there !
I had the opportunity to travel to Paris and spend time with some friends! I stayed at the Park Hyatt Vendome! During my stay there was a number of protests and my stay included a Saturday night! The hotel staff were exceptional including checking on my well being and making sure I was comfortable during the stay! The food and the service was exceptional and the marooning breakfast team certainly deserves high acclaim! If you should have to stay at a hotel in Paris during difficult time, I would highly recommend the Park Hyatt Paris Vendome!!!
I've visited Paris four times and the last one I had the amazing opportunity to stay at the Park Hyatt and it was awesome! The staff is quite nice, Lea from Front Desk gave us a warm welcome and she practiced some Spanish with us! Paola approached us when she saw us struggling with a map and she was truly helpful! The room is more comfortable than you could imagine, there's plenty space to walk around! The bathroom is simply amazing, you will love it! And of course, the property has a very good location, you can actually get walking to many points of interests, there's subway stations a few steps away. I highly recommend the Park Hyatt, it's a very good choice that you won't regret.
We stayed here for one night for the experience using Hyatt hotel points. The hotel is in an area with several other high end options so there's healthy competition. I was super nervous to take the kids into our room at first - lots of glass, nice things.. After hiding them the room was very comfortable. I think we had a corner room so lots of extra space for the kids to play and for the crib, the bath and shower were great.
Our highlight was the breakfast buffet. Not only did it look great, but there were many items that tasted fantastic (french toast muffins anyone??)
If the price is not a hurdle for you this hotel is a good option - clearly there are more reasonably priced options in the area. Also, if you're travelling with a family of 4 or more and older kids one room won't be enough space.
We spent six nights here with two other couples and have to say I was underwhelmed by the experience. Location right at the heart of Place Vendôme was great but facilities were tired. The shower in our room did not drain properly and amenities were only reluctantly replaced upon request. It did not help mattered that there were only going strikes in front of the hotel every day we were there. Breakfast was great with staff remembering how we take our coffees after one day. Concierge were exceptionally helpful and greeted us warmly every time we come back to the hotel. However housekeeping was a serious let down, the room does not feel it had been properly clean and our evening maid was sullen and rude.
In a city with so many great hotels, the Park Hyatt needs to up its game to ensure customers return.
