Great hotel
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I visited this hotel in May with the family. I emailed the hotel prior to my stay with a request as we was celebrating my mum’s 50th birthday and they responded to my emails. I really liked the hotel, it was very modern, comfortable beds and it has great facilities. I used the gym in the mornings and found it was more than ideal for a quick workout before touring Paris. It has a treadmill, cross trainer, bike and a couple of weights. The hotel is in a ok location whereby the bus stops outside and takes you into the centre. Theres a shopping mall nearby with all the big shops in. We had breakfast at the hotel which had plenty to offer. My only little grip is that there wasn’t much choice of hot food, it was mainly eggs and small sausages. I wasn’t too keen on the scrambled egg but other that that, breakfast was plentiful. I had a great stay and would return. The staff were very helpful and couldnt do more for you. My phone was stolen during my visit and the receptionist did everything he could to help me find it. He is a gem to the company and would always go out of his way to help.

How can it be 4 stars?
The carpet smell so bad, putting a doubt about higiene !
The bar closed at midnight, but without food since 23h! The mini-bar was empty ( besides a single water bottle).
Our flight was late and we were obliged to order a pizza. And we had to eat it in a small table next to the reception because we were not allowed to use tables from the bar.
I really don’t think that level of service deserve 4 stars.
So disappointed !

My jacket was misplaced
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

While cleaning the room;these guys picked up the jacket and when I asked they did not give me any clue as to where the jacket is.
Showed language problem and said that they did not understand.
The staff who understood english was very rude and said that they can speak only once.

Bad Location
Reviewed 4 weeks ago

I stayed at this hotel during my business trip in a superior room with queen bed. There was no sofa in the room but a double (not queen) comfortable bed. Also, I do not know why but, it was a room for disabled access.
Since hotel is at a crossroad, the air is very dirty at the area. But, there is not so much traffic/car noise in the rooms. Unfortunately, there were kids groups when I was there and since their loud voice in the corridors, I could not sleep well.
Breakfast was fine. But I did not understand that why staff can not speak English. The bread was over and it took around 10 minutes to explain it and time to get.

Not coming back
Reviewed 1 month ago

Visited for few days during June. Made the reservation through booking, the number of nights at the hotel counter didn't match the one I did on Booking. The disappointing part was the front desk attitude, didn't try to help, keep sending me to talk to Booking which I did. On check out, I needed to pay more night then I actually stayed. Again, front desk attitude was not friendly.
The staying was average, room smelled from cigarettes. Breakfast was just ok. Location is not the best. Not inside the city and not totally outside. So in the evening, to go to the attractive places I needed to travel more. Not a successful stay.
