Comfortable modern interiors good location

The hotel was refurbished recently and rooms are spacious and comfortable.
Location is good if you're here for shopping as it's close to galeries Lafayette printemps and all the upscale luxury brands.

It's 10 minutes by car to St Germain and le Marais, my two favorite neighborhoods. And you can't really walk it so I personally prefer staying in St Germain as you can walk to LL the nice bistros there.

Don't much like the f&b near la Madeleine.
Plus it's very busy and very touristic.

Excellent location but expensive

We could get to many places easily from hotel and was close to subway
Quaint decor with a nice old loft
However the room was very small for two people, construction noise nearby.

Breakfast was of poor value - limited choices and no fresh eggs cooked on the spot.

Spring Break

The hotel was very comfortable and the staff excellent. They booked taxi’s for us and nothing was too much trouble. We only had breakfast there but that was excellent. A buffet with ham cheeses, croissants pain au chocolates plus boiled eggs scrambled eggs bacon. Also pancakes which were tasty. Staff in breakfast room very helpful and attentive. The area is full of well known shops & plenty of eating places.one evening we went to a restaurant just round corner that specialised in truffles. It was an experience we had truffles in each course. We got to top of Eiffel Tower which Pleased us as it had been closed when we there years ago. A very pleasant lunch on a Seine cruise. The hop on hop off bus very easy to use. Weather was 25dgC which was a bonus . A very enjoyable break. Flew from Southend Airport which was so easy just park car and walk to terminal. We pre booked taxi to and from airport to hotel and was very satisfactory.

Cozy hotel in Paris

When we come to Paris we always choose the hotels near Madeleine Church. It’s walking distance from Gare St Lazare, the line to go to Giverny and the Normandy cities, plenty of restaurants, walking distance to Opera, Printemps, Galeries Lafayette, Galeries Lafayette Gourmet, Louvre, Arc de Triomph, Champs-Élysées, Shopping, stores like Mango, HM, Zara, Gap all close together at Blvd Haussmann by the Galeries Lafayette.
At this time we chose a very nice hotel, Newhotel Roblin Madeleine and we were very pleased with location, good size room with wood floor, fridge, safe, coffe and tea maker, comfortable bed and good size wardrobe.
The bathroom was not so big, no bathtub unfortunately, sliding doors, kind of different, but huge shower with a sitting place. The toiletries had a honey fragrance that I personally liked very much.
The breakfast was very tasteful with the highlight being an egg boiling maker. I just loved to cook my own egg. The bacon and sausage were the best ones I ate during this trip. Really delicious. Yummy cheese, cold meat, breads, crepe, Madeleine, that I couldn’t resist, cookies, cereals, yogurts, fruits and jams. Very good breakfast indeed.
People who worked in different positions at the hotel were very polite and made sure we were welcomed all the time. A special thank you to the kind ones serving breakfast.
There was a restaurant, R Cafe and also a bar, but we didn’t have a chance to eat there.
We can state It’s a hotel we wouldn’t hesitate coming back.

Had a poor room, complaint not listened to.

Planned a romantic trip with my wife, booked through Expedia linked to my Eurostar ticket. Room very small, bed lopsided and if you used the shower for more than 3 minutes the bathroom flooded. This reinforces my view if you book through an aggregator you always get a poor room and not the fancy ones advised. Complained at the time told to write to the manager, in French, I have done this, three weeks no response... note this room was 200 euros a night... so not bargain basement...
