Is this really a four star hotel in Paris?
Reviewed 6 days ago

We stayed in the hotel for 8 days.

Location: walking distance to Arch de Triomphe & Champs de Elysees, 2 Metro station nearby- CDG Etoile & Argentine, in the street with many motorcycles showrooms and cafes.

Room: the pictures in the web shows nicer version of the room. The Deluxe room is sufficient in term of size but the condition needs to be refurbished. The toilet bowl had problem, did not flush properly, we reported to the Front Office twice but not being repaired until we checked out. The cleaning is below standard for a four star hotel in the elite area 16th arrondisement of Paris- we had situation just changed pilow cover had smell of not properly drying fabric, the room is still dusty after being cleaned, the cleaning staff left a bag of duvet (we had to carry this big bag to the front office to return) and their note in the room.

Breakfast: We had free breakfast for booking more than 3 days. Same menu through 8 days- below average standard croissant and burnt taste coffee.

Staff: Only 1 duty staff 7/ 8 pm onwards, seems overwhelmed with full occupancy situation in the hotel during summer holiday season.
We were asked on our feedback during checked out, the front office staff seemed defensive on our feedback regarding cleaning and toilet bowl flush problem creating unpleasant smell during our 8 day stay in the hotel- claiming that previous guest had no report on this toilet flush problem. She also mentioned that the hotel is fully occupied during summer peak season and the staff is hectic- really NOT the guest problem, we were paying higher room rate for the period- the hotel should find own solution.
The staff also works in poor coordination manner- have completed the check out process and while waiting for our cab, I found in my wallet the receipt of deposit fee that had not being refunded. I had to remind her to give me the refund- never experienced this in any other hotel.

In short, the good thing about the hotel is just the location. Not recommended, not at par with the room rate that we paid.

We moved to Relais du Louvre in arrondissement 1- lower room rate, beautiful room and superb Parisien experience.

A memorable experience..

Hotel Montfleuri made our stay in Paris more memorable. I had booked the hotel for five nights through my travel agent. We wanted interconnected rooms for ourselves and our two daughters. However, my travel agent forgot to inform them about it. Mr Sebastian made relentless efforts to get us two rooms facing each other (despite full occupancy in the hotel) . He is a wonderful man, who treats everyone with utmost warmth, care and affection. The front desk staff was very friendly and always happy to provide any information at any point of time. We felt welcomed and at ease in a city far away from home.

This hotel is located at a wonderful, quite and safe location. One can find a grocery store and a pharmacy on the same road. Avenue des Champs-Élysées is just five minutes away.
The rooms were also very clean and breakfast was good.

I will definitely go there again each time I will be in Paris!

Fun Stay in Paris!

We stayed at the Montfleuri Hotel for 12 days.

The hotel is very clean, quiet and located in a nice and very safe neighborhood.

we were within walking distance of the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysees.

We had breakfast every morning at the Kaiser bakery within 5 minutes walk from the hotel because we always woke up late. The personnel was very friendly and welcomed us every morning.

We had a store next to the hotel to buy fruits, water and anything you need when you are on the go.

All the personnel at the hotel are very nice, welcoming and friendly. Always a smile on their face and ready to help to accommodate you. We miss seeing them every morning.

A good choice

We were five people and spent two nights in two connecting standard rooms on the first floor.
Rooms: good-quality furniture and bed linen; not very big the three-bedded room but very bright thanks to.the two big windows. Bathroom was large but had only one wash basin in the three-bedded room... we had no problems though. Good-quality bathrobes and towels. We really liked the scent of the shower gel.
Getting out of the bath could not be easy as it is high. I would suggest a small stool in the bathroom.
Staff: smiling and quick
Common areas: not very big actually, but very cozy.
We did not have breakfast at the hotel.
We really appreciated the possibility to leave our luggage on the day of arrival and departure before check-in and after check-out.

Position: two-minute walk to 'line 1 underground - stop: Argentine'; ten-minute walk to Champs-Elysées and about 30 to Eiffel Tower'; 10 minute-walk to Porte Maillot where Beauvais airport shuttles terminal is.

Definitely a very good choice!

Wonderful all: room, breakfast, locations, the hotel staff.
The tourist has access to metro, bus, to the tourist attractions.
The hotel is nearby the Triumphal Arch end the Champs Elysees.
I will come back with pleasure.
