How to Get There
The rooms are very spacious, great showers, modern, clean, and had all the essentials. Great access to public transportation (train, tram, metro) and getting into Versailles or city center was quite easy. Breakfast was more for adults. Overall it was an amazing hotel for the price relative to others.
This hotel is in a great location especially as we arrived by car from UK and the hotel had secure parking- 30 euros a day is a bit steep but it is Paris! The metro station is literally on the doorstep and quickly took us to all the major tourist sites. The number 80 bus passes by too and would be a great option in cooler weather! The room was brilliant for us as we have 2 teenagers and it was split into 2 areas affording privacy. Plenty of space and a Nespresso machine! We didn’t pay for breakfast as plenty of options nearby- we went to a branch of the patisserie Paul each morning. Plenty of choice for evening meals too. We enjoyed Eugène which was a short walk away.
The hotel is pretty nice for a Mercure. It has been recently renovated and they did a great job. The rooms are clean and finally the smell of dust that accompanied us in a week trip in France (almost all Mercure hotels) ended.
The bathroom is big and the shower very nice. The bed very comfortable with normal pillows and not those flat "things" they call pillows in France. The room was tidy and clean.
Breakfast was good but nothing special. The hotel is in front of the metro and taxi station.
