How to Get There
We stayed first two nights of our trip in this hotel. I could not believe how close the Eiffel Tower was, across the street. The hotel was full due to the air show and conventions so we didn’t get a tower view room but it was very nice and modern. Breakfast buffet was included and it was delicious.
The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the shower and bathroom was separate, and we enjoyed the hot water heater for tea.
It's in a Wonderful location
Very close to the Eiffel Tower,
Oh! and I Loved the buffet varieties.
The Service was Outstanding
The reception team made me feel right at home never struggled to communicate.
We stayed here for my 40th birthday the hotel was ana amazing location, 3 minutes walk from the train station 5 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower the hotel itself was amazing staff were amazing very helpful spoke good English we stayed on the 8th floor with a good view although not of the tower. The room as beautiful with a fridge well stocked everyday, coffee machine. Had a lovely relaxing bath. I would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend a visit thank you so much for making my stay in Paris amazing.
We stayed at the Mercure Paris Centre in May 2019 to celebrate my birthday.
Upon check in, staff was warm and pleasant. Though I speak very minimal French, a huge plus that the staff spoke English. Hotel lobby was nice and clean and overall a pleasant check in process.
Rooms were ok, nothing fancy. A little on the small side, but I expected that. The description on their website was accurate. Nice minibar to store drinks. Huge plus is they restock the minibar if you are a Le Club Accor member. In addition, they provide a nice plush robe for being a member. The toilet is separate from the bathroom. The tub was a little too high and a challenge to get it and out of because of the height, but no biggie, but may be difficult for elders. Overall, a nice room for the price.
We had a drink at the bar upstairs. Server was not very friendly. Seemed annoyed and kept returning to see if we've paid the bill. Felt rushed the entire time. We did not dine at the hotel, so no opinion there.
A huge plus is the location. You can literally see the Eiffel Tower from the entrance. There are tower views from the rooms. RER, Metro all within a 5 minute walking distance. Location was wonderful!
Only a couple of negatives....our original room had cockroaches. We were moved a few doors down and but it was inconvenient having to pack everything back up after we're already settled into the room. The new room didn't have the 2 twin beds I asked for, however, it was something as simple as separating the beds. The wait for housekeeping was also inconvenient and having to wait for the linens to be put back on. Wasted about an hour or so of our time, which I was not happy about.
Overall it was a great hotel for the price. You can't beat the price with the location so close. Everything was all within walking distance or close to the public transportation.
Friendly and attentive staff, especially Bruno, the Porter. He was the first friendly face we were met with in Paris and the last to leave with, we adored him!
I highly recommend this hotel!
Comfortable rooms with adequate facilities even though the shower leaked over the floor.
Needs more staff on reception as I had to wait nearly 30mins to check in even though there were only two couples in front of me!
No apologies for the wait!
Check out was simplicity and friendly.
