How to Get There
The room had a great view of the Eiffel Tower for the Bastile Day fireworks show. The configuration of the Bathroom was not convenient to use. Room could have been larger. Registration staff could have been friendly and more helpful.
Very small rooms we had a privilege suite. Breakfast was terrible much better at the Pullman next door for the same price.
Gym was smelly, most machines were out of order. Disappointing as the pic on website were quite nice.
Complained to staff nothing was done as we were staying 5 nights.
Unfortunately only stayed the one evening.Front reception staff were excellent. Hotel room spotless and comfortable. A big thank you to all the staff and management. Looking forward to my next longer visit with my wife this time.
We only stayed one night to re-visit the Eiffel Tower and this is the best we could find location wise. There is excellent security and its right next door to the Australian Consulate, plus a 2 minute walk from the station. We checked in late which was easy enough, however our single bed hadn't been made up and we had to request 3 times from reception just to get a set of sheets and a pillow which was a little frustrating. Saying that the room is very nice and standard size for Paris (they are usually quite small) but it was enough for 2 adults and a 6 year old. Check out was easy with the express service, security was very nice and looked after our bags including the teddy bear while we went exploring the following day. Overall very nice, pleasant and personable staff. We really enjoyed chatting with the bar manager upstairs who was very attentive and his service was somewhat refreshing after a few bad experiences elsewhere. There is a really nice open communal area downstairs then upstairs a really large bar area with couches and TV for sports etc., We'd definitely stay again, however my recommendation to the management is to train the housekeeping. They banged on our door 3 times in the morning and the 3rd time actually opened it whilst we were in bed, not ideal and a little weird. So if you want rest, put our the do not disturb sign that is provided.
We stayed at the Mecure Eiffel Tower for two nights in July 2018.
PROS: The staff were really nice. The hotel itself was literally right next to the Eiffel Tower. If that is what you want then it's a great location. It was also right around the corner from two different metro stops, which made it easy to get places. There were lots of cafes around for breakfast, etc.
CONS: It is a three star hotel at best, definitely NOT a four star hotel. Everything is a little tired and shabby, and for $300+ euros a night, not great value. We had to switch rooms because the first room smelled horrible (like someone had thrown up in it) and when they switched us, we went from a privilege room to a regular room, and in turn lost our view and in room coffee maker and free minibar perks (which we were paying for).
OVERALL: Just okay. I wished we'd stayed somewhere less touristy where there are better, less expensive hotels and restaurants. We checked out the "Le Marais" district when we were there which is the area we should have stayed in.
