How to Get There
This hotel has the subway and bus stops literally at their door, so visiting Paris is very convenient from this location. The neighborhood felt safe and has restaurants and markets on the same street. The receptionists were all very friendly and helpful. The only negatives are the high price of the breakfast (20 euro) and the carpet in the bedroom could have been cleaner.
Convenient location due to its proximity to the different modes of public transportation, including the Gare de Lyon train station! Our room was very clean, and the reception staff very friendly and accommodating! Upon arrival from the United States at noon, Leena made certain to facilitate the preparation of our room so that we can have our much-needed rest! Our most unforgettable experience was with Jean-Francois and his sincere willingness to go above and beyond what was expected of him! Upon realization that we would need to leave early yesterday morning, he ensured that we can have our breakfast, several minutes before the dining room "officially" opened! Since the scrambled eggs would not be ready until after our departure, not only did Jean-Francois guide us to where eggs could be fried in the self-service corner, he fried the eggs for us! He exemplifies the ideal staff member that any hotel guest would be fortunate to encounter!
Very friendly and helpful staff, hotel in a good central location. Breakfast staff work hard to ensure everything is in good supply until the advertised finish time, unlike some hotels that just let everything run out.
This hotel is quite far from the main attractions but we stayed here as it was a quieter part of town and they catered for us fantastically having two wheelchairs. The manager changed our room when he saw that we had the wheelchairs so that we could have adjoining rooms and the chairs could then be left in the hallway rather than squashing them into the room. The staff were all fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble - a huge thank you as it can be tricky with bulky wheelchairs to manoeuvre around!
The rooms were clean and tidy with fresh towels every day if needed. They were spacious enough to move around freely - sometimes the rooms in hotels can be tiny especially when as reasonably priced as this hotel. Breakfast was included and this was brilliant as it saved us lots of money - Paris is an expensive place to stay and eat in!
We would certainly stay here again - just bear in mind that you need to use public transport/an uber to move around.
Poor breakfast, terrible smell in the room. All my clothes are soaked with this smell. No shampoo, no conditioner, no proper shower gel. Does not meet the requirements of a four star hotel. Wi-fi works very bad.
