How to Get There
Situated right by Metro Voltaire (Ligne 9), this little hotel is friendly and convenient. We opted for breakfast at the café across the street, which served a good coffee and viennoiseries. I had requested a quiet room, as I am a light sleeper, and we were assigned 507, which looked out on the courtyard and was very quiet - no street noise or hotel/hallway noise. The rooms are small, but perfectly fine. Would use again. Staff were helpful and polite.
Booked a weekend in Paris. Picked the hotel for its location. Ended up being far better than expected. Great value, brilliant location, easy access to the metro. clean rooms with all amenities. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. A lovely stay.
I ended up here after the disaster at the hotel next door. This is a very nice hotel in a great shape. The room was very clean, and the bed comfortable. Clean bathroom and good room service. Location is very good, easy walk to Bastille, and right next to the Voltaire metro station. Lots of small stores and affordable restaurants and cafes nearby. Reception service at the front desk is a bit... sloppy and sullen. Still so much better than Hipotel next door.
My fiancé booked this hotel for our anniversary, and while the staff is great... our stay was not. Every morning it sounded like there was a tea kettle whistling every five minutes in someone else’s room; not sure if this was from the water pipes as our room was near the stairwell. On the last morning we could hear the phone ringing multiple times from a room nearby which served as a very unwanted wake up call. Breakfast was ok but never replenished when we went down to eat, so I suggest going early. Additionally, there is one elevator. We normally stay at a W, Westin, etc. but love boutique hotels as well. The room size was fairly small, but that was expected. Everything was clean and in good condition as well.
Despite booking 2 weeks in advance and checking in online 2 days in advance (as well as pre-paying) and being a Gold Accor Member - was advised via email at 7:30pm on the day of arrival that we were being switched to a far inferior hotel, no acknowledgement of my membership level/fidelity. Despite attempt to apologise, won't be staying here again and reconsidering my Accor membership
