How to Get There
Two weeks at the Mandarin Oriental Paris was an absolute dream! I felt so taken care of from the moment of my arrival... Every member of the staff was delightful, going out of their way to provide excellent service with a cheerful smile. From the gracious General Manager, Philippe Leboeuf to the attentive bellmen and everyone in between- the heart of this hotel is the superb staff. All of my needs were met and beyond providing a luxuriously wonderful stay.
The Mandarin Oriental is chic and impeccably maintained with a lively bar and exquisite cuisine.
My room felt spacious and comfortable with the coziest bed and bath that I enjoyed immensely. Tucked away on Rue Saint Honore and Place Vendôme, you couldn’t ask for a better location. After a restful night’s sleep, I would wander the streets and stroll along the Seine discovering hidden gems along the way. Returning back from the day’s adventures always felt like a welcomed home away from home. I will absolutely stay there again on my next trip to Paris...
Mandarin Oriental, Paris has been awarded the revered "Palace" status, and is therefore officially recognized as one of the ten most exclusive hotels in the French capital. We can see why: located just steps from Place Vendôme, this vibrant hotel is Inspired by fashion and artistic creativity, combining contemporary French elegance with legendary service.
Our immaculate room was huge and had a panoramic view of the city plus it overlooked the gardens. It sparkled with details, contemporary with a retro gloss: gold, taupe, magenta and plum palettes, angular lamps, goose-down duvets and wall cupboards crafted in rich amaranth wood typical of 1930s Paris. We adored the bespoke Diptyque products.
French chef Thierry Marx oversees the hotel's restaurant trio. Sur Mesure (lunch and dinner showcases Marx's gourmet molecular gastronomy in a cocooning, all-white space. All-day dining is the draw of Camélia garden restaurant L'Honoré, with sofa seating in the lobby, is the spot for a spinach smoothie or lunchtime poke bowl.
The Spa, a glorious silver and pearl-white space with origami flower-stitched walls and intimate spa suites for two with private steam baths is pure heaven and one of the most beautiful spas in Paris. We swam in the sparkling indoor pool.
Standards are very high here. A kind and dedicated staff and a briliant General Manager make for a seamless stay.
Professionalism combined with the warmth and charm of a family home, the Mandarin wins hands down, nothing is too much trouble, everybody welcomes you as a friend offering luxurious and extremely comfortable surroundings too. Relaxed, discreet with a very special attention to detail makes this place unbeatable.
Absolutely delicious breakfast, beautifully managed by Melena and her enthusiastic team.
Congratulations and thank you once again there is nowhere comparable in Paris!
This is by far one of the best Hotels I've stayed in. great location. Great staff from check in through check out and everything in between. Great food from the breakfast buffet to the tasting menu at dinner. And a great room!
The Mandarin Oriental is in a great location. A hop step and jump from Place Vendome, Service was excellent as can be expected from the group and the room was nicely turned out even though it was a little on the small side. The dressing area was minuscule. I was there the weekend before the Fashion week and the price was higher than normal but that is to be expected.
