What We Love

  • The Louvre, Musée d’Orsay and Tuileries Gardens are within walking distance
  • Prestigious Rue Saint-Honoré address, amid fashion boutiques and grand Parisian townhouses
  • Two restaurants by Thierry Marx, who left his two-Michelin-star restaurant in Bordeaux to open here, plus an on-site patisserie stocked with French treats
  • The full Japanese breakfast on offer at the hotel’s Camelia restaurant
  • The giant birdcage-like structure in the garden

What To Know

  • The price tag is steep (but well worth it)
  • Although this is a family-friendly hotel with babysitters available, the feel is more businesslike
  • The spa is one of the largest in Paris, with a gym, pool and seven treatment cabanas
  • Free WiFi in Suites only. In all other guestrooms there is an additional fee of $19 per day

We had a very good and memorable stay at this luxury property. Hotel with fabulous location, good breakfast, classy room, excellent services.... Staff always help in utmost courtesy especially Concierge team whom recommended so many good places for sight seeing and shopping. Surprised to see GM greeting us at 8am in the morning upon arrival. No direct impact on the Protests week. I will definitely come back again and to recommend this hotel to my friends.

Wedding Anniversary weekend

The Mandarin Oriental Paris is in a fabulous location close to all the best shopping and luxury areas of Paris. We went for an anniversary weekend and were upgraded to a lovely one bed suite. The bedroom was a nice size, the bathroom was superb and top notch and the living area was large and very comfortable. Room wise everything was perfect and the hotel client relations team are first class and managed to get us bookings to all the restaurants we wanted at the last minute which was a real achievement.

The Spa and Gym is first class with a lovely indoor pool, which, like in most MO Hotels. Impeccably looked after and clean.

We had post dinner drinks in the garden area one evening, which was fine as we had heaters and blankets but really this is probably a much better idea in the summer but its always nice to have outdoor entertaining space in Paris.

I suppose my only sub perfect experience was the lobby which is a bit cold and does not give the same sense of style and luxury as the rest of the Hotel. Its a bit corporate and homogenous rather than setting out to be either warm and comfy or architecturally daring and innovative - but that is just a subjective view. Don't be disappointed on arrival, the Hotel gets better and better the more of its facilities you use and the rooms are very classy and 5* all the way.

"Fan"tastic Hotel

Recently stayed at MO Paris again after several years. All preferences from my previous stay were recorded and set up appropriately - very impressive. I wish all hotels would keep such detailed records on their guests. I spend approx. 60 days/year in luxury hotels and it is wonderful for once not to deal with the small personalized things that make all the preference since it has already been handled.
Hotel rooms and common areas are in great condition and well maintained. I especially love that fact that MO Paris offers its guests fresh flowers in there room (bathroom, living and bedroom - very nice touch) - again something that most hotels do not do anymore. Amenities are lush and compliment the luxury ambiance.
My favorite is the VIP assistant at the airport that meets you airside and escorts you through the airport & its processes until you sit in your car. I usually book airport VIP service separately wherever I go and again, here it is already taken car of.
Go and try for yourself.

A Memorable Stay with Dogs Welcome

We had a memorable one-night stay in one of the gorgeous terrace rooms this March 2019.

The check in process was smooth, room exceptional (there is nothing we needed that we didn't find there) and very comfortable, so much we did not leave the hotel much despite a gorgeous Spring day outside.

From the voituriers to the concierge, reception staff, management we met around the hotel and restaurant/bar staff, everyone made us feel welcome and was happy to help if needed.

Dinner at Camellia (the tasting menu) is a must, as well as the delicious pastries served in the restaurant but also available to buy for take away.

The location is perfect - within walking distance to many famous Paris sights and landmarks, in an area where we felt safe.

We visited with our dog and would rate the dog-friendly Paris hotel as welcoming dogs (so many only tolerate them) - no size restrictions, bowls of water available in the room and bar / Camelia restaurant if needed. Pups are welcome everywhere but the spa area and the formal restaurant, we loved the note from resident pup Archie (with some super useful information on local walks, sitters and more) and walkies map.

The only negative point of our stay is that it was too short, we will be back!

Pure Luxury!

An impeccable experience! This is what I would say to sum up my experience at the Mandarin Oriental, Paris. From the arrival till my departure I was made to feel special and recognised. Each and every staff member I passed by greeted me with a smile and everyone that i interacted addressed me by my name. The suite i stayed in was opulent, spotlessly clean and most comfortable.

All my requests were eagerly met with a smile and promptly delivered. I travel a lot for my work and stay in nice hotels in different parts of the world, Mandarin Oriental Paris has set a new bench mark in my mind, with its Service, comfort and enveloping me in a sense of pure luxury.
