How to Get There
Friendly staff, excellent location close to Opera, Le Louvre, La seine, many museums, many restaurants. Very nice decoration, large and comfortable room, excellent breakfast. Can only warmly recommend.
Wow great location, great staff, super clean, comfortable bed linens and bath. Will stay here next time. Great value for the money. This was our second visit to Paris this year. Lyric is far superior to the other hotel we stayed in. Highly recommend.
Lyric is a pretty great hotel in a great spot in the city. If you have just a short time in the city, this is a prime location. Not far from several metro stations and walking distance from the Opera stop if you take the bus into the city from the airport.
We stayed here for the last two nights of our trip. Service was great and welcoming and the room was a bit bigger than most in the city.
The small things we weren't took crazy about - there wasn't any way to control the heater in the room. It was controlled by the front desk and they turned it completely off for us, otherwise it would've gotten too warm in the room for sleeping. The bathroom isn't totally private. Although there is a door, it's all glass and there's a gap. Also, the glass is frosted - partly. Why is this appealing to anyone? Showering is one thing...seeing people (or being seen) on the toilet - no thanks.
There's a great sauna and steam room on the lower level but they close at 10pm. We were able to make it one of the nights for the last 15 minutes. Great way to unwind after a lot of walking around, I just wish it was open longer or 24/7.
All in all, a fine stay.
