Small and cosy hotel, how we like it!

Hotel booked based on the location, 9th district. We also found the charm of the hotel pleasant. We arrived by car and nevertheless missed a strip where you could stand briefly to unpack the suitcases and check in. While I was doing this, my friend drove laps because he couldn't park anywhere, kind of annoying though. The friendly receptionist soon made me forget this annoyance. When we went to our room in the evening we got a room at the end of the corridor "Victor and Juliette". Beautifully decorated hallway and a super cozy room, small but that didn’t bother us. Wonderful bed and pillows to sleep. On our second morning the hotel had a power failure while I showered but it was resolved very quickly. We have not taken breakfast at this hotel so I can’t tell anything about it. A lot of choice in the honesty bar. In short, we had a wonderful stay here. Cozy hotel, quietly located and yet central. Friendly staff, nothing is too much for them. A hotel where we would definitely return.

Would not stay at again

Hotel is nicely decorated and within good distance to many attractions. Downsides include that the a/c "can't be adjusted during winter" meaning that rooms are 80 degrees or slightly cooler. Luckily we had windows, which were open most of the time due to the heat, but the nights were miserable. Aside from the construction at 8 am, strange smell from restroom (plumbing?), strangers trying to get into our room/our card being deactivated, and an extra $30 euro charge at checkout for "city taxes," everything else was okay. Would not stay again, would not recommend.

Small but perfectly formed!

We literally in spent 36hrs in Paris.. Les Plumes was easy to access from Gard du Nord on foot & close to get the Metro ( Cadet ) to access Paris in full!
The room was small but had the amenities that you needed, the bed for us was so hard, so in turn we didn’t sleep that well but for others it may be ideal.. the bathroom again, small but had all you needed, I liked the colour changing lights as novelty, but the shower head was impractical for a woman if not wanting to wash her hair, there was a hand held also but again not practical..
We didn’t pay the €15 for breakfast each as we felt you would get much better value in a near by Cafe, they have an honesty bar in reception area which is a good idea, making soft + alcoholic drinks accessible should you want them!
What else can I say, it was what it was, small but fine for a night or 2!
