Very friendly hotel!

Only stayed one night for our short city break but would have loved to have stayed here longer!
As our train got in at 1030 we got to the hotel well before the usual check in at 1600. I only intended to leave one of our rucksacks in storage at reception so we could explore the city more comfortably but the staff were so kind as to let us have our room around 4 hours early! In the room we found that they had left a lovely little package for my 8 Yr old comprising of toiletries, a little pair of slippers and a teddy bear! He was over the moon! They had also left a lovely bottle of wine on ice.
As there is a spa on the lower floor, gorgeous fluffy dressing gowns and slippers were provided too.
The room was a lovely size with a small balcony which was great to look out over the district. (we were on floor 5 though!)
Anything you might need was supplied and we were told more than once, anything else we might need, call them.
Breakfast was great, lots of options and more than enough. Don't expect a full English, but there are eggs, streaky bacon and little sausages. Plenty of breads, pastries, meats, cheeses, yogurts and fruit.
We had 45 minutes in the spa and you reserve it. It is probably because the area is quite small but it is lovely, and clean. The steam room was relaxing and my son liked the pool.
The location of this hotel is great. Easy walk to and from gare du nord. Nearest metro is Saint George's, less than 5 mins walk away. You can walk straight into some great areas from the hotel. Nice street nearby with little shops and eateries.
Above all, the staff make this hotel. So friendly and welcoming, nothing seems too much trouble. They are a credit to the place and I hope they are recognised as such.
Highly recommend staying here, location great, staff fab and hotel itself clean, comfortable and well equipped!

A lovely hotel

We stayed here for three nights to celebrate a special birthday. We had an upgraded room 601 which was modern, clean and very comfortable. The only negative about the room was that it was located near the lift which you could hear every time it was used which became annoying if you couldn’t get to sleep and was the only noise you could hear as otherwise it was extremely quiet. The small swimming pool is very relaxing after a day sightseeing.
The hotel is situated in a lovely spot with easy access to a variety of shops , cafes and restaurants and within walking distance of many of the iconic Parisian sites.
The staff at the hotel were superb. They were extremely helpful and courteous. On the second day my wife hurt her ankle as a result of a fall and had to use crutches. Claire, the manager, Julia and Raoul provided us with very much appreciated help and support and even helped me celebrate my birthday with champagne and cake.
We plan to visit Paris again next Spring and we will certainly stay here again. We cannot recommend it highly enough

Great hotel in a fab location. Staff were most welcoming throughout the trip. Rooms were smaller than expected but cosy with very comfortable beds. The only negative was clothes storage - hooks on wall could have helped to improve this.
