How to Get There
The staff were incredibly helpful at this hotel and couldn’t do enough for us on our short trip. The location is good and the rooms were a decent size for a city centre hotel. Pre the trip they arranged cars for us to pick us up from the station and take some of the group to a golf course which all arrived as arranged.
My husband and I stayed here the first week of July 2019 and had a fantastic experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful with answering questions about navigating the city and trains. The location of the hotel is so perfect for walking around the city- the Louvre is super close and many other attractions are walkable, as well as the train station to connect us to some day trips.
Our room was wonderful as well. There were blackout curtains, it was very quiet and clean, and we could control the AC and kept it nice and cool all week. The bathroom is also large compared to many European bathrooms. We are so happy we chose this hotel to come back to each night after a long hot day in the city!
Very friendly staff. Customer service very good from check-in and for the duration of our stay. Our room was very comfortable with sufficient hanging space and space for luggage on the floor. Good water pressure in the shower. Easy to adjust water temperature in the shower. Breakfast selection is very good and vegetarian friendly: hot dishes (breakfast sausages, scrambled eggs, hash browns), cold cuts, yoghurts, fruit salad, cheeses, cereals, fresh baguettes, pastries, juices etc. coffee made to order (the cappuccino is excellent!) and wide selection of teas. The central location makes it very convenient to transport: Chatelet-Les Halles RER is easy 10 mins walk - we traveled via train from CDG airport with luggage and it was easy to get to the hotel. Close to Chatelet Metro, which we used Line 4 to get to Gare Montparnasse for TGV to Tours. Easy walk to Louvre, Les Marais, Notre Dame, Pompidou Centre.
The hotel experience was amazing. Much better than we could have imagined and great value. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They always greeted us with a smile and after the first day knew who we were by name. The breakfast was delicious, especially the bread and pastries. The staff there were also great and made excellent cappuccinos. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit.
Stayed here based upon Trip Advisor reviews and price for the area. I absolutely would stay here agian. The location is fantatstic for any tourist to Paris as it is located near the Louvre, the RER train to De Gaulle airport, Notre Dame, cafes and different metro stations. Les Halles was a minor walk away and we used the RER train from DeGaulle to Les Halles and then walked to the hotel, about 5-6 minutes away.
The staff at the front was very willing to help us with luggage storage, directions, recommendations, etc. We were even told that if we had a french language document, they would help us read it. If we nneded to talk with someone who spoke only french they would help out. I took advantage of this and had them contact the rental car company in a different city to confirm our reservation and the times they were open as that was confusing on the car rental website. When we called ourselves, it was a robot phone menu only in french which we could not understand. They took care of calling the company and verifying things for us. Bravo!
We did have the breakfast there and it was very adequate. There are probably some things I could nit pick about, I just do not remember them now and were outweighed by the services provided. Our room and bath were fine and no complaints.
Again, I would stay here on my next visit without hesitation.
