In a quiet residential area in the 15th Arrondissement, a five-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower, Le Marquis is a contemporary and cozy boutique retreat that has just undergone a hip refurbishment by Parisian interior designer Oscar Ono. Behind a traditional Haussmann façade, the lobby features pillars decorated in abstract designs and a mirror-lined bar, and the breakfast room leads through to a leafy courtyard terrace and a snug sitting room with library. Furnished with low tables and lounge chairs, the public spaces are decked out in muted tones of gray, burnished copper and brown. The restrained gray and cream palette in the guestrooms is offset by zebra patterned carpeting, while the spirit of the Parisian dandy is reflected in a series of black-and-white photographs that decorate the walls. The rooms also feature flat-screen TVs, free WiFi, a desk area and ample closet space, and nearly all the 36 rooms (Classic and Executive) feature a bathtub and Hermès accessories.
In the Area
The Eiffel Tower is a five-minute stroll from the property and offers unparalleled views of the City of Lights. At the other end of the tree-lined Champ de Mars is the golden dome of the Hôtel des Invalides, which houses Napoleon’s magnificent tomb. From the Eiffel Tower you can walk along the Seine to the Musée d’Orsay, with its wonderful collection of 19th-century paintings covering Romanticism, Impressionism and Post-Impressionism. On a fine evening head over to the Montparnasse Tower to eat in the clouds at the aptly named restaurant Ciel de Paris. In the experienced hands of top chef Christophe Marchais, the restaurant also proposes a “souper” menu at 11 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays for those coming out of the nearby theaters on an empty stomach.
How to Get There
We traveled to Paris after researching hotels thoroughly due to bad experiences in the past and found this one and thought it looked great...and it did not disappoint! Upon arrival we were able to check into our room early and were greated by and English speaking receptionist who was lovely. We were were surprised by the complimentary mini bar which contains 4 soft drinks and gets replenished every day. Our room was a great size and clean and cosy. The breakfast was really good and the best part was the crossiants. I thought a nice touch was the the two birds in reception!
The location is great and once you know the way to the Eiffel Tower it only takes five minuets. It’s close to some nice restaurants and bars and a McDonald’s.
Highly recommend anyone thinking of going to Paris for the first time!
Would stay here again!
We visited this hotel recently and were touched by the cute and charming vibe. So close to the Eiffel Tower! Also, the hotel has great staff. A special shout to Loic, who gave us great local advice and also to Robert :) Au revoir!
Hotel is truly amazing!!!
It was a treat from my father in law for my first anniversary. He loves this place and booked me and my partner to enjoy our special day in here.
we were greeted by a warm smile from Ms Chaumont who is Hotel Manager and introduce us to various facilities and services they provide within the hotel. All other hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great. An easy walk to the Eiffel Tower.
We stayed in an executive room which was cleaned to high standards. Beds were comfy, I liked the espresso machine stationed in the room. Free WiFi was a bonus!
Close to lot of cafes, bistros, bars, and metro stop was round the corner.
Breakfast had lot of healthy options and variety.
Thank you Ms Chaumont and team to make our special day very special.
In future whenever I travel to this magnificent city I would certainly stay in Hotel Le Marquis.
I highly recommend staying here, this hotel will not disappoint you!

We enjoyed the breakfast with many choices, pastry, bread, eggs, everything we need on the morning!
The room is clean, and really nice because we see the top of the Eiffel Tower from the 602. On the room you have a mini bar free and they lend you an phone to help you to visit Paris with many good deal for tickets!!
We hope to come back quickly at Le Marquis.
Great location, just 10 min from the Eiffel Tower.

The Room was very clean and great to have a cordless phone to call internationally (FREE) and take it with you if needed.
