Beyond expectations

Great location, service and considerate design. This is perfect hotel for your stay in Paris. Easy to access everywhere. Good breakfast and the room is equipped with washer and dryer which is so touching especially for travelers who travel for 2 weeks in France. Paris is our last stop before back home with lots of dirty clothes. Definitely will be back if we come back to Paris again.

Great location but...

Well appointed with great location. Kitchen amenities like washer dryer and nespresso machines were excellent. Exclusive suite was comfortable and spacious. Gym had windows ( a premium in Paris) and was modest but adequate. Then the wrinkles started to show...

1. Curtains couldn’t close or open due to misaligned tracks. Daily struggle. Housekeeping or whoever attended to our complaint decided to take some of the hooks off the drapes altogether and so we have saggy drapes which marred the whole appeal!

2. Malfunctioning climate control. Lounge set at 25 deg C was freezing and we had to wear a coat! Bedroom set at 19 deg C was like a furnace!

3. Street noise. No double glazed windows which was a nightmare. We didn’t sleep much.

4. Front desk staff were indifferent. Only saving grace is Sapana the trainee who was exceptional and she and Henry the gentleman who tended to the breakfast service - and was truly helpful and congenial-are the reasons why this review gets a 3 star. Just to illustrate, a front desk staff said they have no more red wine when I couldn’t find one at the honesty bar. In France, and the only bar in the hotel has no red wine. The travesty! Sapana diligently looked through the store and found a bottle. See why I say she’s worth several of the permanent staff? I would steal her for my property if I ran a hotel.

Wonderful /Thoughtful Hotel and Staff

We spent our 25th wedding anniversary in Paris. We arrived early and while waiting for our room my husband mentioned to the front desk that it was our anniversary. Not only did they work hard to get us into our room ahead of time, they decorated our room with rose peddles, champagne and chocolates. What a memorable experience! Thank you all for make my trip one I'll never forget.
