Fabulous Holiday
Reviewed 1 week ago

We spent 4 days here 9-13 May. The hotel staff were extremely welcoming, helpful and attentive. Our connecting rooms, Joy and Lady Soul were very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent with a huge choice of delicious food to suit all tastes. The all day coffee machine and honesty bar were a wonderful addition. We would certainly go again. Thank you Idol Hotel for making our stay so memorable.

If in Paris you must stay here

Booked our stay here through booking.com. Thought we would treat ourselves to a suite. The original one we booked was changed but we loved our room that we were changed to, My Cherie Amour. The decor and style of the whole place is brilliant and well thought out with great details. The bed was one of the most comfiest I have eve slept in. The little garden is gorgeous to sit and have a drink in the afternoon or evening. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful.

The staff were all lovely, helpful and friendly and nothing too much trouble.

It's location is very good too, with the closet metro line only a couple of hundred yards away with nice little cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

Next time we're in Paris we will certainly be back.

Very good stay

Stayed at Idol Hotel in the Light my Fire room on a Wednesday night having stayed here many times before.

The experience this time was very good. Swift check in, well kitted out room though standard Paris room sizes (404) and swift check out. As I stay here often I was given a welcome drink. I took the raspberry juice from the minibar. I slept well though only after I put in my ear plugs as my neighbours were a bit noisy.

Good value. I would stay here again. Recommended.

Your funky homely place in Paris

We stayed for 4 nights in "Light my fire" room, and liked absolutely everything. Very comfortable bed, and remarkable housekeeping and cleanliness. Breakfast was excellent. And we even found few English channels on the TV, including BBC 1! :) (That is my answer to one of the previous moaning reviews on Booking.com).
Situated in the quiet area of the Rome district, location of the hotel is convenient for most of the things you would want to do in Paris, whether to stroll romantically to the main attractions, admiring the city architecture and history, or to get metro (stations Europe and Saint Lazare are nearby, in 5-10 min walking distance). Taxi ride is 15 euros to take you to the banks of Seine.

Perfect for what we needed

This is a belated review, as we stayed here in June 2015. We had such an amazing experience and we are still raving about it to our friends and family, so we wanted to leave a good review. My husband and I stayed here while in Paris and this place was perfect for what we needed. Great location! Great coffee! Comfortable and well designed room.
