How to Get There
Our room was beautiful - very spacious and clean, with a huge, incredibly comfortable bed and a giant bath with blue lighting in the bedroom. There were bluetooth speakers for movies and music, and our beds were made up and towels replaced everyday. A romantic place to stay, with lovely staff and a sunny atmosphere.
Travel tip: hire an electric scooter, they are so much fun and the best way to explore Paris.
This hotel is lovely. We stayed in the Jungle Suite for my birthday and the room was amazing. Bigger than we expected, the bed, the shower and the jacuzzi bath were lovely. The bed was so big and so comfy I didn't want to get out of it! The rest of the hotel just as lovely and always spotless. We dealt mainly with Lea on reception, we spoke prior to our arrival via booking.com booking assistant. She was so lovely and so helpful, we were able to check in early too which was great! Not very often I would want to return to a hotel I have already visited, but I definitely would here!!! Highly recommend. We didn't have breakfast as we thought it was slightly too expensive, but the free coffee machine was a nice touch and available 24/7. Location was great - little supermarket shop just across the road, bars and cafe's near by.
First time visiting Paris to celebrate my wife's birthday and we couldn't have been more pleased with our selection to stay at the Idol. EVERYONE working there were extremely friendly and helpful. They coordinated a car to pick up us at the airport and Gwendoline even called them when our flight got delayed to let them know. Melodie was also very helpful. Our room (Give me the night) was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The glowing red tub was awesome. The hotel was very quiet and there was very little street noise in the mornings.
We only ate breakfast in the hotel one morning, but the selection was great and the food was very good. We also loved the ability to make a fresh cup of coffee in the mornings as we headed out to explore the city.
If you are looking for a small boutique hotel, look no further, this is the place for you!
I would recommend you visit the Arc de Triumph/Avenue de Champs-Elysees on any day except Saturday. Also expect possible Metro Closures on Saturdays as well.
My colleague and I were in Paris for an event and were delighted by the great service, the fun atmosphere and the comfortable rooms at the Idol Hotel. The great people at checkin helped us find a grocery store, chilled wine for us and were exceptional in helping us with all our questions. They also pointed out a lovely park nearby we may have missed. We had two rooms: Joy and Lady Soul. We heard no noise during the night. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. We didn't get to enjoy the courtyard, but it is a lovely city oasis. It would be a great place to relax after seeing the sights. We also loved the machine that provided fresh ground coffee in the lobby. We would both recommend this hotel and look forward to staying there agin when we return.
We stayed in the jungle fever room and can honestly say I’ve never walked into a room and said ‘wow’ out loud, but this time..... ‘WOW’!! From checking in staff so polite and helpful. The room was spectacular. We can’t wait to go back
