Going down the drain. Unfortunately.

It started so nice 2 years ago, with Indira Mahdavi as its wonderful designer. Extremely nice and competent staff. But then, there was the idea of cutting cost, obviously. The breakfast was reduced, although the same price was maintained. Almost all nice stuff was replaced by, let's say, cheaper ones.
Resulting in no service whatsoever. All nice features removed. Nothing repaired that, quite obviously, needed to be repaired, torn seats, wallpaper.
A once breathtaking venue has become rotten. And I am the first one to feel sorry about it. Quel domage! Forget about Hotel Thoumieux, we all have to find a new venue!

Charming and delightful, with great bistro and a 2 Michelin star restaurant

My feedback is based on 5 or 6 stays, alone and with family since 2015. Last stay in Nov. 2018.

Small hotel. No elevators but staff helps you out with the luggage. Smaller rooms but still good size. Well decorated. Aesop products.

Great staff from Jennifer at the reception desk to Eliza and others at the bistro and the restaurants. Everyone nice, professional and caring.

Food delicious. Breakfasts fresh and comprehensive. Staff goes out of their way to make your stay comfortable and memorable. I'd say service is at a 5 star hotel level for sure. I seldom eat at hotel restaurants; but here, there i go.

Location really good. A bit away from cheesy touristy areas which makes me happy.

Short stay here

Great hotel in Paris 7th Arr.

My wife and I recently spent 2 1/2 weeks at HT. It is a fabulous hotel - great location, great facilities and wonderful staff. We wouldn't hesitate to return. Breakfast was exceptional in the Michelin star restaurant served by Katarina who is excellent. Rooms was quiet. Easy access to the Eiffel area plus St Germain and 6th. Delphine and Diva at reception were excellent including printing out 'avoid the line' tickets.

Nice Hotel in Paris

Room was small but very nice, The bathroom was large and clean, the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The only thing we did not like was the breakfast. The breakfast was VERY expensive, over $30 for a consant, bread, juice, and coffee. If you want eggs it'll cost you over $40. Even the restaurants on every corner only charge $15 for the same breakfast.
