How to Get There
Our room was at the top floor. Rooms are not large but they are comfortable and clean. Hotel is in the middle of all tourist attractions. If you like walking, you can see most of the places by foot. Also the metro station is very close. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Excellent location and service!! I was able to walk to a lot of the best attractions. Would highly recommend this hotel! The staff is very attentive. The room and hotel were very clean. There was a nice selection on the breakfast buffet.
Last summer, my wife and I visited this charming hotel, ideally located in the very center of the city. Being regular guests of De Lattre family properties (last year we stayed in marvelous Recamier hotel on the Left Bank), we kinda knew what to expect, but hotel Therese even managed to surpass our expectations. First and foremost, its location is really fantastic. Hotel Therese is close to Opera, Gare St. Lazare, shopping wonderland rue St. Honore, Louvre museum and many other attractions, such as department stores (Galeries Lafayette and Printemps Haussmann), as well as many restaurants and cafes...so, if you want to explore Paris on foot, it is one of the best positioned hotels around. Second, the value proposition is simply outstanding. For more than fair prices, one can enjoy full-time Parisian luxury experience, with beautiful and unique decor, very polite and helpful staff and overall atmosphere of homely, pleasant and inviting place. The hotel is extremely well maintained, the rooms are fully equipped, immensely clean and spacious and the public spaces are posh and beautifully decorated. Highly recommended!
I have stayed for 3 nights at the Hotel Thérèse. The location is very good for exploring the city. The biggest attractions in the City of Lights are in a walking distance such as the Palais Royal, the Louvre Museum, Opéra National de Paris – the Palais Garnier, the Comédie Française and the city’s fanciest shopping district- rue Saint-Honoré. Yet, by being situated in calm and quiet rue Thérèse, this hotel somehow manages to avoid all the hustle and bustle of the big city center. I managed to relax very well. I had a very cozy room with a view on a rue Thérèse. The set tone of the interior design of the hotel awakens a desire for exploration, travel, and discovery. The atmosphere in Hotel Thérèse is warm and welcoming, with friendly and informative staff. The hotel is privately owned by the French family, and you somehow feel the special touch in all from its owners. It has a homely feeling.
Not only was the room comfortable, but the staff was very helpful and the location was perfect for our 1st stay in Paris. While I wasn't enamored with what seemed a narrow dark street that wasn't on any of our maps (it's only 2 blocks long) it interects with the Avenue de l'Opera - about halfway between the Louve and the Opera House. We walked along the Seine and to great restaurants. We were in a room that was a bit tight for the amount of furnishings but it was asweet room on the second floor over looking a courtyard and the place was quiet at night. The staff through email had offered several options and we were happy with it, as we were not spending much time in it. The afternoon tea was great. Nice bathroom toiletries and though it may seem a silly thing to comment on, the toilet paper was very high quality, so nice even my husband commented on it.
