How to Get There
The hotel is in a great location and within walking distance of many famous landmarks. The hotel is uniquely located in what is known as Little Tokyo and within the vicinity are many Japanese and Korean eating establishments.
The staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. I planned a Valentine's surprise for my wife with the hotel - they made a big heart using rose petals on the bedcover - it looked amazing. We also liked the offer of complimentary fruit in the lobby too.
We stayed in room 15 on the first floor. The well-maintained room is small with enough room for a queen-sized bed, a small desk and wardrobe. We liked the safe and the Art Nouveau-styled side tables. The ensuite bathroom was very well-kept and a fair size. The shower was very powerful and a huge bonus.
The room was very warm (some nights it was too warm to sleep) and we only eventually realised that there was a heating unit by the front window (obscured by the desk) that could be controlled - we switched it off for the rest of our stay. One thing that was disappointing was the level of noise - we could hear cars driving past the hotel as well as strangers walking past. The bathroom was noisy too as I think there was a waste pipe situated nearby - we could hear a lot of wastewater flowing down the pipe!
Would we stay again? Of course. Upon checkout, I did tell the front desk about the noise - and they said that if this happened again they would be happy to provide a room change. Overall, it is a very charming hotel in a very convenient location. Shame about the noise, but now we know the solution.
Very calm quiet yet also efficient would stay again with out a doubt. Staff were amazingly attentive yet discreet
It is local for metro and buses yet hidden away. Had an amazing seafood meal just round the corner
Lovely modern, updated hotel property, centrally located in the 1st Arrondissement. Proximity to sights, shopping, and food.
Yes, the rooms are small, typical of the charming old boutique properties in Paris. Staff was most pleasant and attentive to our needs and questions. The breakfast buffet had a lovely selection of tasty french morning fare. I will happily return, my stopover in Paris was too short. :-(
We stayed for one night. Lovely and helpful staff. Great service. Good location and nice breakfast. Clean rooms with nice modern design in a quiet street, but very close to restaurants and Palais Royal.
4 star boutique hotel located nearby Palais Royal. If this is your first time coming to Paris, this neighbourhood will be perfect for you. It’s 10mins walk to Louvre and all the tourist attractions are within walking distance. Love shopping? Galeries Lafayette is only 15 mins away. I tend to like staying in the 1st and 2ndarrondissement the most, so central that can get you everywhere easily. It’s also located within a Japanese/Korean neighbourhood that we could grab a bowl of comfort noodle soup in the cold winter.
The hotel is tucked on a quiet street but easy enough to find even with our big luggage. The lobby lounge area was spacious with lots of seating. We were staying at their largest executive suite on the 3rd floor. We were amazed by how big the space was, it even got a walk in closet which is my favourite part of the suite. Interiors and furnishings were chic and cozy, the colour palette as soft and comfortable. Bathroom was huge, and I appreciate the rainshower head and water pressure was strong enough. It gave me a homey feel of staying at an apartment while fully equipped with boutique hotel hospitalities. This was the largest room we ever stayed in Paris! There’s no walk out balcony, but we could still open the wide windows and sit on the ledge to enjoy a cup of espresso and the street view.Overall we had such a pleasant stay and would definitely return again.
