The Lowdown

Sealing the deal for trendsetters and lovers of all things boho-chic, this charming bolthole is perfect for those looking for relaxing digs in Paris’ 10th Arrondissement. As city-central locations go, this is just perfect; right between the up-and coming neighbourhood of north Marais, the Grands Boulevards and the Canal Saint-Martin, and within easy reach of the Gare du Nord and main Métro stations.

Cute but not great
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Nicely decorated small room. Very cold until I turned the heating on full all day long. There were a few insects, but that didn’t bother me. The breakfast is really nice. It is not easy to work in the room as there is a desk but no chair, just a stool.

Lovely Boutique hotel in the heart of Paris

This was our second stay at Hotel Taylor, it has become our go to when staying in Paris. The staff are lovely and very friendly with excellent English skills for those that are not confident with French. In our last stay we were in a superior double and this time we stayed in a normal double. Both rooms are clean, well decorated and generally wonderful; breakfast is very very nice but sometimes the hot food was slightly cold when we arrived later to breakfast.

The hotel is located near three Metro stations within a ten minute walk as well as a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. Overall a wonderful hotel that we will absolutely stay in again!

Lovely and quiet hotel in a bustling neighbourhood

Very friendly welcome, nice and cleen (superior) room. A lot to choose from at the breakfast, everything was fresh and tasty. Friendly and correct staff. Very quiet and cosy street in a bustling neighbourhood. If we go back to Paris, it will be here!

Good but expensive

The hotel is fine. Room is good with space and clean.
Breakfast just average, nothing special to comment.
Service was very good with friendly approach.
Location is fantastic close to underground. Many places to have a coffee or dinner.
Only negative is the price. I found it too expensive for its class. Value for money is the only negative. I wouldn't stay again.

Lovely, little hotel

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights at the end of September.
Staff are really welcoming and friendly and always happy to help.
We stayed in a Superior room, which was a great size.
Bed was 2 singles pushed together, but was very comfortable.
The room had a bathroom that you could see from the bed, which is fine if you’re a couple, but no so private if you’re 2 friends.
Bathroom had 2 sinks, a bath and a shower attachment. You had to hold the shower, it didn’t have a hook on the wall.
My husband and I were really pleased with the room and it’s size.
Breakfast was served in the small dining area next to the reception.
It was a buffet style with some hot food and lots of meats, yoghurt, cereals and french pastries.
The staff were happy to help and offered hot drinks etc.
The hotel is in a fab location, on a quiet street, but only a 5 minute walk from the metro and a big area of shops and restaurants.
Would highly recommend this hotel if you are planning a city break to Paris.
