How to Get There
My family spent 6 nights at Hotel Serotel Lutece on a recent vacation in Paris. The hotel is located in a great location, with easy access to a metro stop and the Pantheon. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. We stayed in a family suite that had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The morning breakfast was delicious. This hotel has old world charm with modern conveniences. We will definitely visit this wonderful hotel again.
Perhaps the best Paris hotel in which we have stayed. Will always stay at Hotel Serotel Lutece! From the moment you step into the delightful reception and experience the gracious client service until you are welcomed back so genuinely at check-out, it is a wonderful visit. Spotlessly clean, newly updated rooms with great beds and bedding, air conditioning and sound proofing. Perfect! You won't be disappointed.
This hotel was a pleasant surprise for the four days we stayed in Paris. Check-in was marvelous with the relaxing atmosphere and assistance in getting our rooms ready for us. Having previously been an embassy (so we were told), there were many very interesting aspects to the hotel with its plush receiving room, garden patio in the back, and especially the outstanding breakfast area in the lower (dungeon-like) level. The service was extraodinary and the buffett breakfast wonderful.
Myself and my husband have had a few stays in Paris but this was the first time with our two daughters.
This hotel was a great choice and we were really impressed with the family rooms. The two rooms were separate with but joined via a corridor which locked. This gave an element of privacy. Each room had its own bathroom, TV etc.
The service in the hotel was good and the decor was beautiful.
The location was fantastic with a good choice of cafes and restaurants nearby. We chose not to have breakfast at the hotel as we wanted to explore nearby.
This was a very pleasant first family trip to Paris and won't be the last
Loved this hotel. Well-priced in peak season. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast, big selection, included hot egg dish and bacon or sausage. Elevator. Our room 307 overlooked an internal courtyard and was very quiet. Room is adequate suze, you can easily walk around all sides of the bed. Excellent staff, helpful, thorough. Rnglish-speaking. Close to Luxembourg Garden. That metro sration and Port Royal metro station 6 minute walk. Bus 21 and 27, 2 minute walk and take you to all the tourist areas, Louvre, etc etc. Lots of good restaurants in area. Rue Mouffetard, lovely old cobblestone street area with restaurants and shops is 8 minute walk, originally a Roman street. Very safe area, lots of local residents and students from Sorbonne. We'd definitely stay again.
